Virtual Reality Therapy Anyone?
The benefits for cognitive, physical and
speech
therapy
sound solid. There are specific programs to suit your needs. Mental too, with actual human interaction. Started contacting companies. The main one, that insurance covers, sent me a nice reply stating it is for certain veterans only.

Speech therapy advice
The speech and language therapist doesn’t expect his
speech
will improve much more. It seems the
speech
therapy
hasn’t helped it improve further as its actually no better than it was before he went to rehab.

Possible improvement of speech in Parkinsons patients with the encouragement and implementation of a daily walking routine.
This may help improve breathing control, articulatory movements, and motor coordination involved in
speech
. The study found that rhythmic
speech
therapy
that focused on breathing control and articulation had some benefits for speech rhythm in Parkinson's patients.

Life Changing
We have a fantastic team from Oldham memory clinic who come to us for
speech
therapy
and to check his swallowing. They are a huge support to me too. We have a physio coming weekly, have had grab bars and a bed frame fitted to help him turn in the night.

Struggling to make the best education choices
It started off as preschool working on language development in conjunction with his
speech
therapy
. He graduated from
speech
therapy
quickly, and we just kept up with the homeschooling. He has always been an active child with specific tendencies and very very friendly with other people.

speech
therapy
I have had Ataxia for 3 years my

Anyone tried Well Red (red light therapy) products? or any other brand?
If the question has already been asked, could anyone point me out to a similar thread? Would like to know if anyone tried the red light therapy helmets from Well Red or any other brand and if they had positive reviews? Truly appreciate the feedback

Treatment Preferences in Patients with Hypothyroidism: an Analysis of Eleven Randomized Controlled Trials
I have only read this abstract - once, and very quickly - hence no real comments. But patients preferring combination treatment is hardly a surprise. We'd probably prefer our own nicely working thyroid - which would be producing T4 and T3. Wouldn't it? [i]Treatment Preferences in Patients with Hypothyroidism

hdr brachytherapy or proton for salvage tx
MSK RO (Gorovets) recommends proton sbrt due to my preexisting urinary issues….hdr brachytherapy logistically is a LOT easier for me…..wondering if anyone here has any experience or opinions on this topic…..with all the hype about proton therapy and few studies to back it up definitively I’d hate to

Tuesday's Tip
I've read in Dr. Jones' book that often the use of light therapy has been shown to help patient's itching. It has been used for years in newborns to help break down neonatal jaundice. It's thought to break down the jaundice pigment in the skin. The trick is the decide how much sunlight or light therapy

Got in a mess over reduction of T4
If possible could greygoose TiggerMeor anyone else offer some much needed advice. A few weeks ago I reduced t4 to 75/100 over one week (high t4) I felt very under medicated so then increased again. I then changed to a lactose free make to see if accord was causing the acid reflux. Recently
