Anyone developed junctional tachycardia after ablation to treat atrial flutter !? And how to deal with it , manage it or treat it
I'm having symptoms on daily basis since my ablation on 25th Aug , duration between seconds to one hour even I'm on sotalol twice a day I started to have it recently at nights , for three continuous nights but my pulse doesn't exceed 90-100 and pressure not more than 140 but very bad symptoms including

Is there anyone else in Sydney having problems with medical funds over an ablation?
This is my problem. I have a history of heart problems. It started with an aortic valve replacement and then AF attacks , clots and now PAF which is now controlled by drugs. Daily 125mg digoxin 80 mg Sotalol 10 mg bisoprolol This all causes other problems - now I have an enlarged aorta - left bundle

50 days after ablation
Good thing no atrial flutter recorded , but unpredictable junction Tachycardia, recently at night for 3 times I went to ER last night and I'm disappointed , they said nothing to be done there for me , they got EKG and send me back , told me it is not dangerous and they can't do anything to stop it just

Are ectopic beats in this case dangerous ?
My doctor explained to me today that I'm having different types of irrythemias and he is not sure which is causing me these complains , but his major concern was about a recorded group of 5 & 8 ectopic beats in my holter monitor 10 months ago , and he called that VT if I got it right I used to have

I'm in a cycle , all are under discussion , atrial flutter , atrial tachycardia , VT , don't know the difference
For me all are similar as I'm feeling same ugly symptoms , few were very sever attacks , but the treatment offered warfarin ablation , beta blocker , recently one of the doctors advised me a pacemaker Conclusion still not stable after ablation on sotalol 80 mg twice a day which is controlling the symptoms

What is the difference between bisoprolol and sotalol ?
I was on bisoprolol for about six months and it was not causing me any bad side effects , but recently my doctor put me on sotalol due to frequent SVT I'm having daily migraine along with dizziness And numbness in my lips , tongue , finger tips and feet My BP is showing normal rate I'm on sotalol

Four weeks after my ablation and not sure if its gone to plan, or am I being an inpatient patient!
The Ablation went well and I was home the next day, the first night at home was awful and I seriously didn't think I was going to make it through the night! As the night drew in my discomfort in my chest became unbearable, the only position I was anywhere near comfortable was sitting up, If I moved my

Why everybody here is afraid from medication?
As most of you know I'm suffering long back from PAF and can't remember how was my life before it , I was on bisoprolol and warfarin earlier and I was happy when it was working , till I reached a point where beta blocker and flecainide were not working anymore and the attacks maybe weekly , then two

Is it possible to come off Sotalol whilst in NSR and use the Pill in the Pocket method of controlling A.F.

Holter report showed no atrial flutter but Junctional tachycardia after ablation !doctors call it as SVT
I was going to ask what does SVT means but it look like i should try it personally lol. I was treating atrial flutter now im having this new irrethemia as a result of ablation or as my doctor said it was maybe there and it was causing the flutter Is it commmon ? Which is worse? Does that mean ablation

Post Ablation feeling
Hi All, It's just been a week since my second ablation procedure to treat Flutter / fibrillation. So far the procedure seems to have worked well to stop the flutter but my question is - I feel much weaker at this point after the ablation than the first, could it be the fact that I had a general anesthetic

My doctor prescribed for me recently sotalol , since I had few tachycardia attacks which started only during recovery from ablation but no flutter showed thank god I was before ablation on bisoprolol , warfarin and Flecainide to control AF Is that logic ? I was expecting not to use any drug for

I feel restless short breath and very tension , all my muscles can't relax , hard to calm down to fell asleep which have negative impact on my heart rhythm as well I'm having this since few days after my ablation , I'm not linking it to the procedure itself , but I just started sotalol to control
