Maybe found some clues in bottled water
I also found out that
sodium
bicarbonate draws water into the GI tract, and one of the side effects of , for instance, drinking bicarb of soda (baking soda) is loose stools! But that could also help constipation in the amounts bottled water contains.

still decompensated after 5 months any hope?
At the start
sodium
was dangerously low so he couldn't take water tablets - now his
sodium
is back within normal levels whilst taking a pretty high dose of diuretics and he has next to no fluid and no drain booked.

After 30 years of living with the affects of radiotherapy I found this community after a Google search for remedies after the doctor only advised imodium. I have found it to be a very emotional discovery as I didn'teven know PRD was a thing! Has anyone tried peppermint oil tablets? Do they help

Alk Phosphate going up after third Radium 223
hello all. Husband dx in 2017 with 489 PSA. So far we’ve done Docetaxel, Xgeva, Zytiga. Currently on Xofigo (Ra 223) it knocked the Alk Ph way down then after the third treatment it went up a few points. Has this happened to anyone? RO suggests doing 4th treatment then PSMA scan to see if there’s

imodium and buscopan
hey guys just wanted some general advice on taking imodium as well as buscopan? Imodium for the diarrhea and then buscopan for the cramps? (I am also on Amitriptyline 10mg) would all these together be too much? I seem to manage the diarrhea but recently I am getting more cramps too which don’t subside

Not a relapse
It turned out that my
sodium
levels are WAY down from normal levels. This has happened before. So I am getting an IV tomorrow of
sodium
, which will apparently improve my situation dramatically and quickly. I cannot wait to feel better. It has been a long couple of weeks.

Blood results
They did a full blood count including potassium,
sodium
and creatinine .. all normal. Does this suggest I might try and change anything? Might fatigue etc be something else entirely? Thanks so much for any thoughts ... these results are on patient access but not explained in person.

Thanks to the advice here about plant based diet and lowering
sodium
, phosphorus, and potassium. Of course, I’m not out of the woods yet, but at least I’m on the right track.
