Help me taper off 40 mg Prednisone sooner than 8 weeks
Am taking vitamins, exercising low
sodium
, and melatonin.. may need ambium for sleep which I have. any suggest for how I can taper faster? Was thinking tapering every 4 or 4 days by 5 mgs till off that will cut it down by a couple weeks?

b12 purchase
The 2ml ampoules contain Hydroxocobalamin 5mg,
sodium
acetate hydrate,
sodium
chloride, water for injection and acetic anhydride. Does anyone know if this is similar to prescribed b12?..

Follow up to my last post about nausea & unable to eat.
I've been eating salted crisps trying to get the
sodium
up again, but if this is something ongoing, does anyone know what may be causing this? When I was in hospital, they changed some of my meds which they viewed as
sodium
lowering but the changes haven't made any difference.

Low sodium levels in bloodwork
His
sodium
levels have been trending downward since his dx. He experiences frequent periods of confusion throughout the day and I always attributed this to severe blood pressure swings but now wonder if it is low
sodium
. Is low
sodium
a feature of MSA? Anyone else experience this?

to much to handle
The day after her first treatment she ended up in the hospital for 4 1/2 days because her
sodium
levels dropped so low. We initially thought she had a stroke. The day she got out of the hospital (Sunday) my dad went into the hospital.

Disappointed 😞
My
sodium
is okay, but my potassium is 5.7 my potassium for awhile has been high, and I'm taking a medication for my protein since I'm urinating protein that makes your potassium go high. I don't know what to think it's like my heart gets ripped out every appointment I go to.

Stem Cell transplant register search goes on…
Also had a Cardiac Ventriculography Scan which involved also 2 injections of
sodium
pyrophosphate then having ecg electrodes placed onto my chest and being scanned for about 20 minutes. This tests how well my heart is pumping. To think that before my diagnosis, I was needle phobic!!!

How much salt is good for an elderly CKD patient?
Since I raised my daily salt dose from under 5g to over 7g, my plasma
sodium
level went from chronically low to normal.

How many kidney disease patients are limiting their diets to plant based (vegetarian)? I did, and my GFR is almost normal.
Rduce
sodium
, calories, Potassium, Phosphourus to limits enforced through diet will help damged kidneys to be able to function well enough to maintain normal GFR etc.

Another miracle cure :)
Any opinions on
sodium
chloro acetate. I am anxious to try an herbicide on my cancer :) but seriously if you google a bit there is some sense to the explanations as to how it might help to reduce cancer. Anyone try this

My weight is slowly coming down, especially since Ive really restricted my
sodium

CLL and Lupus labs
I stopped both meds while in hospital with critical low blood
sodium
and have stayed off both. Will NOT take lupus Med again!! I can't seem to keep blood
sodium
number in the normal range. Again. Having both diseases is confusing and a pain in the butt.

water balance?
Not only might it make my creatine lower and eGFR higher, but the
sodium
and chloride and various blood cell counts as well as "osmality" also read as abnormally low.

How to improve your blood pressure
When it comes to
sodium
, think of it as getting more potassium than
sodium
. In modern fast food eating, heavily relying on take-out foods, will also increase
sodium
intake. Once in a while, fine. Not every week.

Where do I go from here?
I developed vasculitis in August, possibly triggered by apixaban. That had been started after an episode of dramatically low
sodium
had caused Atrial Fibrillation. I'm now on 25mg prednisolone, azathioprine 125mg daily.

Raising Low Sodium Levels
Is there a trick to raise your
sodium
levels and keep them stable? Eating a lot of greens, adding salt - anything else? What else could be causing low
sodium
levels?

Feel like I'm going mad
At the end of January I ended up in hospital with low
sodium
