Auximen scan shows significant new cancerous activity and last post about my brother
Unfortunately, this is the last post about my brother. He passed away on October 6. My brother showed great fortitude against very long odds, and his courage and strength of spirit during this brutal battle was inspirational. I am heartbroken to lose him, but I know the cliché that he is finally at peace

What side effects do people experience with sodium valproate?
It's been suggested I change my medication from Keppra to sodium valproate because I am experiencing too many side effects. I was just wondering what other peoples experiences were with sodium valproate.

Low Sodium when taking Prednisolone
Has anyone else found that they have low sodium which could be due to taking Prednisolone? I have had it since January and didn’t have a blood test for 4 months due to lockdown but had another test last week and despite adding salt to jt food which I was advised to do my sodium level had gone down. Final week of Venetoclax ramp up
Yesterday I took my first 400mg of Venetoclax - ramp up has been going well but with a few side effects. Last week’s blood test showed my sodium levels had dropped but consultant didn’t seem too worried. I am experiencing ear pressure, a whooshy head with lots of dizziness and am getting tired really

Stimulant laxatives (bisacodyl, senna and sennosides, sodium picosulfate) available over-the-counter: new measures to support safe use
Much of the press has carried this story in various forms. I thought taking you to the original might be helpful. Do read carefully. [i]

Any treatments left?
Good afternoon, my dad has been battling this awful disease for 2 1/2 years. We have exhausted the majority of treatments. He has been on abiraterone, Xtandi twice, zytiga, Docetaxel, radium-223, BAT and now he is about to get his 8th treatment of Jevtana. He is 77 years old and is tolerating the Jevtana

Struggling with IBS D
I’ve been lurking on this forum for some time now and finally decided it was time to post. I’ve noticed that some people give background so will do this; I lost around 7 stone in weight (through calorie counting & exercise- only mentioning to rule out dumping syndrome from gastric band) 6/7 years ago

Possibly getting off exforge
I've had some strange health issues over the last 5-6 years and starting to wonder whether it's the exforge because I can find no other cause of this. Years ago, I think after I started exforge, I started to get random aches and pains in my arms and hands, but it was not so bad so I generally ignored

Help I’m confused
Hi there I am sure this is a familiar story but new to me so any advice welcome. Started to experience ‘heartbeat sound’ in my right ear so went for a hearing test. Audiologist said my ear was so full of wax that he couldn’t see my eardrum. Advised me to use olive oil spray then see a micro suction specialist

Is my experience with IBS normal/Any tips?
Hi, I’ve had IBS for for around 4 or 5 years now and was wondering whether my experiences with it have been normal or if something else could be wrong also. I think my IBS flares are brought on due to anxiety more than diet as ever since I was at school I would get diarrhoea and pains nearly every day

Switching gears due to insurance denial of treatment plan
My MO was set to give me cabazitaxel with carboplatin as docetaxel was not working. However, insurance denied this treatment as not being beneficial. When MO asked for peer review the insurance doctor, who appears to know little about treatment of prostate cancer being specific to each individual, denied
