PMR & Stage II Polycystic Kidneys
PCP determined PMR based on my âtinman stiffnessâ and bloodwork showing crazy inflammation levels in late January, and started me on 20 mg of prednisone. An ultrasound and xray turned up polycystic kidneys with a too-large to pass stones. Iâve tapered to 15 mg of prednisone at this point, and am wondering

Chemotherapy or Pluvicto
I just completed Radium 223 treatment. PSA has been doubling since I failed Zytiga. Last scans show progression. I am offered chemo or a trial with Pluvicto. The cancer is throughout my bones. What should I do. I have had chemo at the beginning of this journey and it worked then.

Iodine?
I am very concerned for my fiancé who seems to be aging in front of my eyes. He is always cold, his hair is falling out, he is gaunt, and his memory has diminished, he will be 60 in a few months. I watched a video last night with Richard Vobes and Clive de Carle a Nutritionist, he talked about iodine

Advice about diarrhoea symptoms please
I have had very little assistance from my GP in relation to my Pernicious Anaemia with gastric parietal cell antibodies diagnosis earlier this year. GP reluctantly agreed 5 loading doses but no more than three monthly injections after that, even though I have neurological symptoms. I have been supplementing

Continuing problems after RAI treatment
Fifteen months ago I had RAI treatment to destroy my thyroid as the Consultant said it could no longer be treated with carbimazole as it was affecting my white blood cell count. So eventually, despite not wanting to, I had the treatment. As I had had an underactive thyroid for 12 years before it changed

Zanubrutinib and water intake and sodium level
I am a 78 year old woman who has been on a very long watch and wait since 1999. I was diagnosed in 1998 and given a small amount of prednisone and chlorambucil and have received nothing since except ivig which started in June2021 due to infections. My watch and wait is over as I will be starting treatment

Could I try BAT to restore sensitivity to previously used antiandrogen treatments.
I failed Abiraterone and SOC doesn't allow the switch to Enzalutamide. I was reading on the use of BAT to resensitize mCRPC. Would this be a therapy that could work or is it too late now that I have failed. I know its not SOC but I am running out of choices and looking for some clarity. Its basically

Enzalutamide any advice/tips for dealing with side effects
Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since scans

Hello! New here! Can you take collagen supplements with potassium iodide at 50mg with Hashmotos disease?
I am very curious because I have leaky gut and want to supplement with collagen which I heard helps leaky gut. I heard potassium iodide is good for hashmotos as its like a detox for the thyroid. If you can help that's great thanks guys. Xx

Your best adjunct therapy pick
If you could only continue with just one alternative PD therapy, what would it be? (My rather gauche attempt to pick your brains and not re-invent the wheel.) For me, it's MCT oil. What about you?

What is the prognosis for someone with Gravesâ disease?
Hi All, I have some questions about the prognosis for someone with Gravesâ disease. How would Gravesâ disease likely progress if solely treated using anti-thyroid medication such as Carbimazole? This is the route I am taking. I know itâs an autoimmune disease so there will be flareups and periods

Mouthwash
Mouthwash is a really hard one as often it has glycols in it. My dentist said sometimes we can wash our mouths out with salt water and this helps when we have bad breath. and I am going to try listerine total care: Ingredients: sodium fluoride, water, alcohol, sorbital, paloxamer 407, eucalyptol flavor
