Well.. As much as lockdown has ruined the majority of lives, its supposedly saved mine as I have never in two years felt so good as I have the past 6 weeks. I post frequently in regards to gas, My sick phobia and d* but, after a months heaven, I have been able to eat anything and everything with zero friction. However. After 10 months of struggling to find a job, I'm happy to have been employed by Subway! The jobs going well, Im on my 4th day and amazingly havent had much anxiety. But.. My shift starts at 6am which has had me very nervy about waking up at 5,thus me more or less sleeping terribly over the past week. Still though my stomach has been calm, content UNTIL this morning at 3am where I woke with tremendous anxiety (heart beating, thoughts everywhere) and began getting horrible gas. Its now 5am and im still passing it, its the kind where its DISGUSTING and I have to leave soon to get a lift - would imodium be necessary? I didnt take it since February the 5th but it never fails. I have perfume but ugh, Im already regretting going back into the 'real' world

That's great to hear you got yourself another job!

If you find Imodium helps them use it!

Best of luck and you will start your new job and think to yourself what was all the fuss over!

You and me both, my IBS has been so good since lockdown, but I am getting a little concerned going back to a voluntary job I love. Anyway, back to you, many congrats on getting a job. 5am is an early start and anxiety over something new is bound to rear its head, but once you get into the routine it will settle down. Suggest you look for an antispasmodic if it's just gas and try to eat a slice of toast before you take it, but if its IBS-d that's the main prob go for the Imodium. Good Luck 🍀🤞
