For Those With Social Anxiety
I happen to come across the name Thomas A.Richards who is a specialist in the field having once been a sufferer himself. He has recorded several audio tapes to help others and has written books too. I think his works may be of benefit to many. Look them up in the Archives section.

Tapering from Fluoxetine
I was wondering if anyone has taken Fluoxetine and was tapered off and what to expect? I am not currently taking it, but I was recently tapered off Venlafaxine and it has been suggested that Fluoxetine can sometimes help with relapse symptoms. Thanks in advance.

I have so much
social
anxiety
that just one post is taking a very long time to send and create ( I will obsess about what I write here later). However, the need for community and connection is greater and is the motivational factor in putting myself out here today.

10 reasons I don't have ADHD
Have I considered that I might also have severe
social
anxiety
that makes it *seem* like it's hard for me leave my house?

Trying Something New
I’ve had
anxiety
, more so
social
anxiety
, since I was 16 and nothing has worked. Recently, its been getting bad and I thought I’d reach out for support and maybe learn some helpful coping techniques

Panic during a workout session?
Hi! I really do find joy in working out , but does anyone ever get panicky while working out ? For example, maybe you’re not going any HIIT workouts but , some form of cardio or maybe strength training ....and obviously you’re going to get all revved up , but then as you do so ...palpitations...like

A little inspiration
I found this inspiring. It does take tremendous strength to keep going when we carry heavy loads like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. Can you relate?

Being alone
I have agoraphobia and
social
anxiety
so connecting with people in the real world probably isn't going to happen. It affects me online too. I don't use social media because it's too depressing and it reminds me of how little I have in common with most of the people I know irl.

Recently Diagnosed with ADHD.
I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, PTSD, and
Social
Anxiety
. I came to find out that I was diagnosed with ADHD in the first grade but was never treated, so it went unchecked. My life had a catastrophic implosion, starting with loosing my job in 2016.

Loss of a mother
Lost my mom and to be honest I’ve never felt worse pain. I don’t know how the world continues to go on when one is suffering. My mom was the only person who truly understood me, loved me unconditionally and it hurts so much that she’s gone. My life will never be the same... Mami, te quiero mucho y jamas

Melatonin for sleeping
Hi everyone For some time now I've had to take melatonin (the tablets), mostly during nighttime when my anxiety acts up or when I can't sleep. I have found they work very well. The only thing that bothers me is that the next morning I wake up feeling very tired and out of it. Sometimes the tiredness

Social anxiety
The fact that I have
social
anxiety
is very upsetting. It’s so bad now to the point I’m nervous in public all the time. Today I had a dr appointment and the nurse asked me a question and out of nowhere I got nervous and panicky. I really felt like I was going to say something random or offensive.
