Welcome Laykonyde
My anxiety goes back many years. Actually I was a very excitable child growing up but never displayed physical symptoms and panic attacks until I was in my 20's. I had severe anxiety disorder (GAD) that eventually went into Agoraphobia where I was home bound for 5 years.
It was at that time that I learned a lot about my disorder and went on medication, had therapy and discovered other methods to help me recover. It took a lot out of me but today I am myself again, anxiety is under control and I'm here to pass my success forward.
I'm glad you are here with us and a part of this amazing virtual family of friends. xx
Hey there, LaykonydeMine is a persistent one. In fact I know when I will have it because it is caused by a particular person. So, when I will see this person or hear from this person, I prepare my breathing exercise and then do them just in time and when they leave, I'm usually fine because I already know I will have them. I don't think it will go away, so I have decided to work with it instead of fighting it. I am interested in hearing ur story.
Hi Zoom12345,
Nice to hear from you. Just like myself, mornings can be very tough. Was a time it hit me so bad I stopped looking forward to seeing each morning.
Meds have helped a wee bit. I'm now happy getting outta bed however, I still get morning anxieties. With each Monday morning where I get no anxieties, its a sign the week is gonna be superb 👌 😎.
