Currently sitting with a tube up my nose, down my throat and down into my tummy as they also think I have
silent
reflux
. Again I think this is another muscle not working properly due to my Fibro. Or could it be the other way around? The Sunday Times had an article about leaky gut.

New to this - initial blood test results
Hi everyone, i wondered if anyone can shed any light on my recent blood test results (if you don't mind - I'm new to this thyroid game and feeling a bit lost) To give a bit of background, i had thyroid tests 2 years ago and nothing came back except elevated cholesterol which GP wouldn't do anything

Omeprazole and other drugs
I have been told I have '
silent
reflux
' which gives me a dry cough, this has ruined my life for the past 15 years (another story) and I also take drugs for high blood pressure and arthritis. I take 20mg omeprazole twice a day.

Do I have 'silent' oesophageal reflux?
I have had a persistant, non productive, irritating cough for 15 years. It keeps me awake at night (my husband now sleeps in another room) and has led to the termination of my teaching career as I cannot control a class with tears streaming down my face. I cannot answer the phone with confidence, attend

The mirena and the pill, worried about side effects?
I had the mirena put in before I was diagnosed with endo 3 years ago, I recently had my gyno try me on the pill cilest and I'm worried about all the hormones? Can they have a negative affect on you? I'm only 21 and I already get hot flushes and bleeding on the coil, will the pill help this or make it

Living with asthma
Hi I am 35 yrs of age and 4 months ago suddenly started experiencing fairly bad asthma. I'd been sleeping unbeknownst to me next to a wall covered in black mold for three months, breathing it in every night. I have since dealt with the cause of the problem and thoroughly sterilised and cleaned my room

Levothyroxine and Ranitidine
It is a sour/bitter taste and I wondered if it could be some kind of acid
reflux
?? I've researched something called
Silent
Reflux
(LPR) and my symptoms are very similar - bitter taste, excess mucous, cough...... I've had the dreadful taste for about 3 months.
