I am used to basically nothing happening with flu and Covid jabs and sort of assumed the same here. I feel

Shingrix vaccine - fitting it around rituximab infusions
Hi I understand the
Shingrix
vaccine is given as two doses, 2 to 6 months apart. I am under 60 and assuming I can persuade my GP of my eligibility, when should the vaccines be best scheduled around my 6 monthly rituximab infusions?

Shingles Vaccine
I’m trying to work out whether at age 61 with a compromised immune system, I will qualify for the new
shingrix
(shingles non-live) vaccine on the NHS? Does anyone know?

Shingles
He's on 200mg venetoclax daily, he had to drop his dose as he wasn't tolerating 400mg daily, he will be two years on venetoclax in December, my question is, I've read some posts on this forum suggesting he should stay on a daily dose of Acyclovir, and should he get the
shingrix
vacine and how long should

Anagrelide advice
As an aside, I've been told at GP that I'm not eligible for the
Shingrix
vac - I would beg to differ on that, but will take that up when I'm feeling a bit better! Thanks all Anne-Marie.

Shingles Vaccine
Just looking at the new advertising campaign for the shingles vaccine although those who are 70-79 are entitled to it looks like those of us over 50 who are severely immune suppressed can have the 2 x dose of (non live)
Shingrix
from September 1st. Is this right? Please shoot me out the sky if not.

Influenza A while on W & W,-- the price for not wanting a vaccine
They ALL advised me to get a Flu shot, a Prevnar 20 shot and a
Shingrix
shot. I was getting more needed info, but the panic I felt in my gut would not subside, plus I struggled with the words of " You and Your immune system is now compromised."

Shingrix vaccine
I am on Ibrance and letrozole, my primary has suggested I get the shingles (
shingrix
) vaccine. I will be speaking to my oncologist later this week. In the mean time I wondered if any of you ladies have had the vaccine, and did you have side effects.

Shingles Vaccine
I know I need the
Shingrix
vaccine and believe that you need a 2nd one 2 months later. I would like to hear about your experiences of
Shingrix
. . Of course, I have googled it and it sounds like there can be unpleasant side effects.

Immune Responses + Autoimmune Myelofibrosis
I had this experience while transitioning form HU to Peg, firstly with a covid jab last December and secondly with the first of the
Shingrix
jabs in March, which triggered, at the very least, skin sarcoidosis, rheumatism in some knuckles, lung inflammation and a cough, which, I still have after 8 months

AF and Singles Vaccine
My question is has anybody else had the
Shingrix
vaccine while being on these meds and did you go into AF afterwards or have any other irregular heart beats. I want to have the vaccine but don’t want to upset things when everything is going so well.

Leflunomide and Shingrix vaccine (non live shingles vaccine)
Hello, Has anyone on Leflunomide (Arava) had the
shingrix
vaccine and if so, did they have to stop the leflunomide at all before and after? Interested to hear how many different bits of advice are out there from Rheumatologists.

Herpes Zoster vaccination OK for me?
I recall that Zostavax , because it is a live vaccine, is not recommended, but
Shingrix
is OK. Is Zostavax the same as the Herpes Zoster? I would be grateful for advice. Thank you.

Update on shingles vaccine
I said that was strange and asked was it
Shingrix
etc. which it was. She gave me the jab and said I'll just go on the web and double check, then she apologised and said yes, you are right and ordered some more at £160 a shot.

Methotrexate and Shingrix Vaccine
Could someone please advise whether I should stop my Methotrexate injection before I receive the shingles vaccine, my Pred reduction seems to be going well and I am worried I will have a flare without the Methotrexate. Have finally got down to 7mg for the first time in 12 years.🤞🤞
