Rescue pack
I was thinking of getting a resuce pack just in case I have an asthma attack but for the moment my asthma is stable with fostiar even though I am getting a burning sensation in my lungs and the asthma nurse is not sure what is doing it. I would like to know what is a resuce pack and how do I ask for

Scarring on the lungs?
Hi there, after misery of a cough that wouldn’t shift for 18 months despite taking all the asthma drugs I finallly had a ct scan which revealed scarring on the lungs. This being the NHS I got a letter that said ‘no significant abnormality but some scarring and I hope you are keeping well’. I would like

New asthma nurse
Yesterday I had my asthma review at my doctors surgery. I was really happy to find out that it was a trained asthma nurse. I have had practice nurses before this in the last couple of years. I had a really good one two years ago but she left. So she asked how I have been, did my height and weight, checked

Diagnosed after asthma attack and feeling frustrated/vulnerable
Hi everyone. I'm new to this community having only been diagnosed with asthma last Monday after experiencing an asthma attack during the night at the age of 30. I had asthma as a child which I was told I had outgrown and, in hindsight, I have had symptoms of asthma over the past couple of years but I

Asthma likely to progress to COPD?
Got asthma with partial reversibility on spirometry. Well-controlled on Fostair. Had it since I was a child (with a break in my late 20s to early 40s, now 50). Asked the consultant today if it is likely to keep progressing and become COPD and he pursed and wriggled his lips and then said "well it MAY

Back pain?
Does anyone suffer with back pain linked to
asthma
? I have
severe
/brittle
asthma
and have just got home yesterday from another admission. Today my back (across my upper back, kind of where my hand would be if I put it flat under my bra band, for want of a better description) really aches.

Running with Asthma tips?
Hi does anyone have any tips for running with asthma? Starting back into it but my chest is on fire after less than 5 mins. Does a face scarf help at all or just restrict breathing? Thanks

Histology Report
Well my histology report has come back indicating that the prime site for my mucinous cancer is the small intestine. It then spread to my left ovary which appeared to be the primary site on the CT scans? Obviously it wasn't. I am now being transferred from my breast/gyni oncologist to a bowel cancer
