Basically for breathing ability need to take the medicine as prescribed.

Being aware of what the different ones may cause helps to know precautions to take.

ie close eyes when using spiriva respimat and nebulizing

Look after bone health in every day life, good balanced diet, weight bearing exercise, if bone is already thinning the GP will prescribe supplements and if checked for vitamin D deficiency that will help combat further probs too.

Its mainly the prednisolone oral steroids that cause bone thinning. Probably inhalers added to that, vitamin D deficiency and poor diet is definitely not going to be helpful.

All meds come with side affects but not all of us will experience them and some of us won't experience any while others are not so lucky.

The main thing is initially being able to breathe well enough to look after the areas of concern. The bad news is, this year its likely things such as Non emergency checks, bone density and blood tests is not going to be available because of the current world health problem.

Sounds like good advice! Thank you very much for your response. Have been tried on serevent, flixotide, seretide, fostair, revlar ellipta, and flutiform! Some worse for bones, some worse for eyes..and some make me feel stir crazy!
