How much blue is TOO much?
Okay - sorry if this has been answered before and for such a long post. I'm struggling a bit at the moment, have upped my seretide to double (I'm allowed in the short term although it's unlicensed) and started steroids again yesterday (all according to my action plan). BUT, I'm having to take a lot of

Boots
Asthma review yesterday, my asthma nurse so-so with last two weeks graph. Though apparently I've moved up from 60 % to 75%. (?) I've to stay on Seretide but on 2 puffs twice a day for the next month then come and see her again. Put prescription into bigger branch of Boots. Cheery chap behind the counter

Handihaler and asthma
Hi folks, I'm feeling very depressed this evening. I've had a few chest infections over the last three winters, three in 2008, one last year and a mild one already this year. I spoke to the asthma UK nurse before Christmas and she recommended that I ask my doctor about trying a montelukas tablet in

When to take Singulair/Montelukast?
Hi there, Following a bad flare up in August due to hay-fever then a really bad chest infection 3 weeks ago I've been struggling badly with my chest. I saw the respiratory nurse on Friday and she was extremely concerned by the state I was in and insisted I see one of the GP's to rule out a recurrence

Typical!
I've got a week and a half of annual leave starting today....so of course I wake up in the night with painful lungs and a deeply unpleasant cough! Why is it every time I book some holiday I then get ill? Husband will be home for the weekend (works away a lot) and we have a load of stuff planned and

Asthma, Work and Doctors
I have got a doctors appointment on Monday 24th at 5.10pm. Now the colder weather is set in, I am finding it is making my asthma worse. I do put a scarf on to cover my mouth so I am breathing in the warm air. But I am having to take more of my reliever to manage my asthma which is really annoying

work and asthma
My asthma is really playing up at work at the moment I am getting really short of breath and I am suffering with a tight chest quite a lot of the time. I work with a lot of students with challenging behaviour and they are young people with special needs. I have a student who likes to run out of classroom

My boyfriend just got diagnosed, could we get some advice?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has some advice for someone who is new to asthma. My boyfriend (33) got diagnosed with asthma two months ago and is using albuterol and seretide 200 to control it. He was doing OK to begin with but got worse and worse during the night time and had a severe attack last week
