Fostair
Unfortunately hubby got admitted to hospital a few days ago due to a severe worsening of COPD . He was on seretide (purple circular thing) and the doctor has changed it to Fostair inhaler , saying the seretide can cause pneumonia. Anyone tried Fostair before? He is still in hospital as they want

My doctor makes me the, Chest x-ray, 6 minute walk test, allergy test & a bronco provocation test. My chest X-ray, 6 minute walk test is quite normal with 95% oxygen saturation

Possibly extra things to try...?
Hello lovely coughing people! So... after over a year of brilliant control (mostly), the hurricane and pollen and haymaking have thrown that out the window. Sudden onset but constant coughing / tightness since 6am Sunday. I am lucky to have rescue antibiotics, steroids and nebs at home, so I started

Regular Mucus of a Morning
Hi all, First post here. I'm 22 and the last few years I have experienced regular wheezing and always seem to pick up a chest infection. Sometimes it feels infected and sore, whereas sometimes its just white mucus that doesn't seem infected. Just a nuisance but once coughed up I'm fine for the day.

COPD?? Pulmonary Fibrosis?? Wegener's?? What the 'ell??? Can anyone help?
Just been to see consultant for the second time (diagnosed 3 months ago with possible COPD). 60% FEV1/FVC but really struggling, particularly with chest discomfort and mild breathlessness - nothing seems to help - put on Spiriva, Fostair and Seretide 125 and Salbutamol. Now told to come off all of these

Spacers for inhalers
I've read several posts about the benefits of using spacers in conjunction with inhalers. The practice nurse at my local clinic gave me one for use with ventolin. Are there also spacers available for the other kinds of inhalers, i.e. Spiriva & Seretide?
