I just got my results back from BH. I would appreciate if someone could help me make sense of them. I also requested my blood test results from my GP practice covering 2012 to 2016, I realised after readding them that some are missing so will trace the results for October 2015 (when I was feeling like

Has anyone had success increasing their iron levels? I've been trying for about a year now without success. The levels have moved from "15" to "42" even after supplementing with 400 mg (I think it's mg and not mcg) of iron supplements prescribed by my surgery (200 split into two doses). I take 75 mcg

I did saliva test same time than had my thyroid tested. Low again. My TSH was 2.51 (0.4-4) and T4 11 (10-21). Test I never got,but filed a complaint and hope for re-test. The thing is ,I dont understand what is going on. I had thyroid panel done on June 2016 and based on the results i was recommended

Last Nov I was finally given levo (50mcg) by my gp after months of increasing TSH tests and feeling really bad and when retested was told I was in range although still feeling rough and in the higher part of the range (I think it was 3.7). I successfully used the nice guidelines to get an increase to

Private blood tests
I supplement D3, B12, K2, Magnesium, selenium (with a bit of zinc in), B Complex, folic acid, plus about once a week i'll take an iron tablet and vit C. If I have private tests done, how long do i need to stop supplementing for beforehand to get the right results.

Levothyroxine Success Stories Please Post Here
It's the way of forums that it often happens that people post when things aren't going well then disappear when things improve. I have been on the hypothyroid road since the 80's and some of the time on levothyroxine. I have made attempts at life-style changes over the years and did my stint of life

From 2000 people with Hashimoto's- the nine most helpful strategies.
This is an email I received from Isabella Wentz. 'After implementing carefully researched lifestyle changes, I was able to see a tremendous improvement in my health. Frustrated and confused, advice needed with results with more complete numbers.... thank you!
After posting a few days ago, I finally got the GP to give me all my results. I hope some of you may be able to point me in the right direction. After switching to a new gp and trying and testing different doses of T4 (currently on 75) and T3 (currently on 20mcg), here are my test results: TSH 0.01
