Signs of excess selenium
Lots of people here take selenium. Whilst this is a valuable supplement if you are lacking, there are limits and unpleasant effects of taking too much. The level of selenium when this happens is quite low so if you have any of these symptoms, cut back. The Office of Dietary Supplements reports that high

I only have a couple of symptoms of hyperthyroidism
I've been having my thyroid checked for about 12 months, having blood tests every 3 or 4 months. After the last one I got a call from my doctor's surgery saying I had to make an appointment to see the doctor; I don't know whether I have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. I'm reluctant to take medication

Hi all, following my last post regarding being diagnosed with Hashi I am on Lansoprazole 60mg daily, I have silent LPR acid in throat, not your usual heartburn symptoms. I understand that Hashi reduces stomach acid so couldn't understand why I am on Lansoprazole as well. I have reduced the dose down

One doctor says borderline TSHRAB is basically positive , another doctor says it's in normal range
I just can't take this anymore :( GP said regardless of tshrab being borderline it means negative. I am like why thr range has negative/borderline/positive then. I have understood positive in some cases mentioned strong positive just means the autoimmune attack is on/active. Another doctor says borderline

Hi all, my thyroid antibodies have increased from 200-odd to near 1000 after nearly 4 months of selenium, gluten/sugar/dairy-free and
b12 shots. I also feel rotten with no energy and the whole gamut of symptoms so
I am now looking to take NDT.
I know I can buy it online but I wondered
