Long story short, I had successful brain surgery five years ago for temporal lobe epilepsy. I am still on my anti-epileptic medication. I have only had one seizure since the surgery.
This evening I’ve been feeling a bit off, which I know is vague, but I don’t know how to describe it. I had a weird feeling that I had felt this before, and an odd feeling was coming up my chest I also started to have a strange but not metallic taste. Ringing in my ears was also present. When writing this down during this, I found the first few words quite difficult and afterwards noticed that the sentence didn’t make sense. I sat down but not sure if this was needed. I’m still feeling a bit off, and can feel the pressure (don’t know how else to describe it) in my neck and chest.
I can hardly remember what a seizure feels like as I was young when I had the vast majority of them. I see my psychiatrist tomorrow so I’ll ask her, but am wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!
