Bacterial meningitis and septicemia

I should be on display at Ripley's Believe it or Not....
I had surgery last year to diagnose and remove endo, and had my right tube and ovary removed at the same time. I still had bad pains after the surgery, it felt like nothing was done. So I just had another surgery on April 15th 2015. I had a complete hysterectomy and removal of the left fallopian tube

Home iv's
Hi Everyone, well after several 'problems' since December (2 exacerbations and 1 virus) my doctor at Papworth decided I needed iv's. It was agreed that I could do them at home as there is a very easy way of administering them which does not involve syringes with needles. I went on Wednesday to spend

No one listens
I am still a mess and the cuts/
scars
show that, there doesn't seem to be any improvement or end in sight. I am being referred back to the access team (sure I'll end up in hospital) and still waiting for next level CBT to be arranged.

I had an abortion
4 years ago when I was 21 I had an abortion. I have never really spoke about it or thought that it had effected me because I don`t want children I never have wanted them. When I found out I was pregnant it was to my ex boyfriend and that wasn`t a great situation. I originally wanted to keep it because

Period after lap
Hey, I had my diagnostic laparoscopy on the 21st of March. Prior to this my period ended around the 6th of March. During the operation I had endo removed from my pelvis and a right ovarian cystectomy. I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to when I should expect a next period. Have people

Hi all, I'm new to this forum - Day 6 for me today. Have previously, albeit half heartedly, tried quitting before but I am determined this time. I am using a menthol e-cig in the evenings after work to help ( smoked menthol cigarettes) but not much liking the after taste in the mornings? I had a

Here goes 3rd Laparoscopy today
Morning Ladies. Well here I am in the Nottingham Treatment Centre waiting for my 3rd laparoscopy procedure which will hopefully provide me with some answers. I'm wearing my yellow spotted dressing gown in support of Endo awareness month. Wish me luck. Xxx

on the sailors hands and ordered that the Royal Navy salutes different from the other forces, showing the back of the hand instead of the palm.

in your opinion, what is optimal treatment for AF and sick sinus disease?
Hello everyone my AF is worsening as expected and I can go a couple of weeks now before it settles but "tolerate it well." (GPs words there). I have a pacemaker for the bradycardia part of SSD but also have emphysema, so over time my oxygen level (currently fairly good), will worsen and in turn presumably
