Savlon, would you believe?
Dear All, I have many Skin Creams/ Lotions/ Emollient but have recently started to use Savlon..... Marvellous! I can't 'say' for How Long, of course, but YIPPEE for the time being. I have another 'newer cream' Adex Gel, which my 'Dermy'. gave me- quite effective too. I don't know about anyone else but

Taking too long to recover after circumcision and what to put on scars to help them
I hadn't put any kind of oil or anything else to smoothen out the
scars
because I didn't know I had to. It has now been 4 months and 2 weeks since surgery, and my
scars
are still there.

Baby in breach position
My baby is in breech position. And I'm confused and afraid to do ecv. Because during this 8 month pregnancy I already faced many problems and always feel pain.(because yesterday dr. Told me that ecv is a painful procedure. And I don't want to give more pain to my baby.) Now I don't want any more pain

Pseudomonas
Hi - I posted recently about having had a pseudomonas infection which I was treated with nebulised colomycin. Since stopping I’ve developed a cough again with sputum and had temperature spikes similar to before. I’ve done a sputum sample and it has come back saying that the sputum was thick with bacteria

Is there anyone else out there with Brugada?
I was diagnosed with Brugada in 2015 at the age of 69. Since then I have been called a special lady and called unique! I don’t feel it. The condition was diagnosed while having investigations into an arrhythmia. Because of the Brugada, I cannot take any of the usual beta blockers for this condition,

Reoccurrence
Hi Ladies, I received my PET scan results yesterday and it confirmed the beast is back! It is in a lymph node in the pelvis. It’s going to MDT today to discuss whether I have a second surgery and chemo or just chemo. Chemo will be carbo and doxorubicin. Has anyone experienced this combination of drugs

Adjusting Carbidopa levodopa 25 to 100 mg
Over the past several weeks I've noticed jitteriness in the morning and some involuntary movements of my body. I was currently taking 1 + 1/2 Carbidopa levodopa in the morning. 1 Carbidopa levodopa in the afternoon in one pill in the evening. I began to notice these symptoms since the extra half of Carbidopa

Recovery after PLANNED C-section
What have your experiences been like of planned c-sections? I know recovery is supposed to last 6 weeks but I keep hearing different experiences. I have a few questions: Was the father allowed to be present during the surgery to see the baby born? How soon after could you hold your baby? How soon did

She found the white

where I'd burned off growths using my homemade nitrogen device. She seemed impressed that I'd been using liquid nitrogen for 35 years in my vet practice. I'd burned off skin growths in dogs, cats, pigs, and horses.

Agonising bowel cramps post hysterectomy
Hi there, is this something that will ease with time as my bowel learns how to work again? I has endo removed from my bowel at the same time as hysterectomy so could this be why I'm suffering such pain 3 weeks on? X

Da Vinci Procedure Amazing
I am familiar with long ugly
scars
from previous hip replacement and fractured femur and legs and I am so thankful to not have those issues now. Go back for catheter removal on Thursday, kind of enjoying not having to get up to go pee all the time but probably should not even suggest that.

Dad has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis on xray alone.
I'm new here. I'm hoping to receive information and support following some upsetting news. My father underwent an xray and heart scan after a test at work suggested he had the lungs of an 82 year old. He received the results of the chest xray a couple of weeks ago and the Dr said that he had pretty bad

Pseudomonas Infection - colomycin nebs
Hi, back in July I was diagnosed with pseudomonas lung infection, it was found in sputum sample following an infection that wouldn’t clear. I had ciprofloxin first, then my respiratory consultant prescribed 3 months of colomycin nebs - I’m due a review next week and just wondering what to expect? Thanks
