Recurrence of pain 4 months post op

Hi hoping someone can shed some light I had excision for stage 3 endo womb attached to pelvis , ovaries attached to womb .. worst was on bottom left hand side . Also had ablation this was in sept .. ablation has worked and so far thought excision had .. I am around ovulation point in my cycle and have had a terrible flare up pain as bad as before and lasting longer both stabbing and dragging and pulling … could the endo have grown back this quick ? Could it be scar tissue ? Surgery was pretty full on and I had 5 weeks off work to recover . Don’t want to go through it all again - had anyone else experienced this and if so what treatment did they have post surgery . I am 4 month post op x
