Hi again I have a dilemma going on in my head I'm not far off going to have knee replacement surgery and because I now have pulmonary fibrosis I'm thinking is it worth it because there's no cure for it and its just getting me down x

Worried and scared
I recently went for an eye test as I was having retinal migraine in my left eye. Eyes tested but when the glasses came they just weren't right. I couldn't read close up and could not see road signs or number plates. So scary. My right eye is lazy so glasses do not help that. After having two re-tests

travaprost (Travatan) side effect
I have started Travatan drops nightly for ocular hypertension, high pressure in eyes. Had 4 doses so far. They are causing painful sensitivity to light overnight and in the morning. It has slowly decreased over an hour or two but until then it is painful and distressing. Will this improve over time

SLE patients may have reduced response to COVID-19 vaccination
A reduced response was demonstrated by lower levels of immunoglobulin G (IgG) against the spike protein of
SARS
-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. IgG is a type of antibody produced in response to specific pathogens, or disease-causing agents.

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
This begs the question - if these are not naturally occurring substances in our body - how the hell did they get into our brains? And what can we do about it? NMDA is not an endogenous (native) substance. It's not found in our body tissue but rather synthesized as an excitotoxin for research into NMDA

COVID-19 immune cell vaccine eases SLE symptoms in girl: Report
Aivita’s AV-COVID-19 vaccine kit aims to enable personalized dendritic cell-based vaccines against
SARS
-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 infection. Essentially, a person’s own immune cells are extracted from a blood sample and exposed to a protein found on the virus surface.

3rd surgery
Hi everyone, I am 3c low grade and happy to say after debulking and 1 round of chemo last year, I was Ned. I have had a small nodule underneath one of my laparoscopy scars so going back in on Monday for it to be taken away. I know this is a much smaller op than the other two and I shouldn’t be worrying

Is it Time ?
Just wondering if it is time to start classing the C word as Flu /
SARs
? I had my 4th jab and it seems we will be offered this every year from now on along with whatever type of Flu is likely to prevail, alongside the
SARs
virus.
