This has probably already been asked somewhere...
Hi All, I've been really struggling the last few days with SOB and worse coughing than normal (and that's saying something for both lol). Have been taking my Salbutamol, Anoro Ellipta and Spiriva Respimat but I've got a very metallic/blood like taste whenever I'm coughing at the moment. Haven't had that

Ventolin inhaler -v- salbutamol generic inhaler
I feel better with the genuine ventolin inhaler rather than the generic one. Does anyone else have any advice on this?

Anyone taking flecainide AND a salbutamol inhaler?
My GP thinks that I might be borderline asthmatic and wants me to try a salbutamol inhaler to see if it helps with chest tightness. I'm on flecainide and I was just wondering if anyone on here has experience of taking the two drugs together? I understand that clinical advice can't be given here but I

Hi Everyone
Hi All, I'm new to this, both in terms of the site and COPD. I've (due to COVID-19 outbreak) got a 'working diagnosis' of COPD, I'm unable to have a Spirometry done at the moment to confirm the diagnosis. Both the GP and my nurse have agreed it is a case of purely establishing what stage I am at, rather

Daily symptoms for 10 months so far
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. Im 31 and have had mild asthma my whole life, diagnosed at 5. I was on clenil modulite 200 and salbutamol most my life. In the last 5-6 years my symptoms seemed more reoccurring although the last 10 months have been the most difficult ever. It was like the flick of

My friend is a health guru of sorts and has recommended I take the above for my COPD. I was diagnosed 10 days ago and am about to start taking this. My airways are inflamed and chest is tight on the meds I was already taking for asthma which are Fostair and Salbutamol. I hope this helps me 🤞Anyone with

Stopped smoking, my asthma a nightmare
Hi everyone, I am an asthmatic, I stopped smoking the 24th of November 2019.....so it is just over 5 month ago, my asthma has always been light, I used to use salbutamol ( the blue inhaler, the reliever ). I was told years ago I had to use the brown preventer inhaler twice a day morning and evening but

28 years old. Random chest tightness without pain the last couple weeks.
Hey Everyone Just want to start by saying that I've only had one run in with AF back in February but my cardiologist has not officially diagnosed me with AF since he thinks this MAY have been a one and done incident due to an adverse reaction to antihistamines... but only time will tell. Back in February

peak flow
Anyone noticed sometimes they are tight chested, peak flow still classed as 'green' and salbutamol helps, but sometimes doesn't last the 4 hrs? I've been advised that as my peak flow hasn't dropped more than 20% I shouldn't be using my inhaler as its likely not asthma causing the band around my lungs

Don’t know what to do anymore 😢
Hello all, I will try to keep my post short(ish) but basically, I used to work away from home and progressively, certain aspects of my health deteriorated in the final year. Eyesight went extremely bad, weight gain, allergies and ENT issues but the worst was a cough and coughing fits and chest tightness

Thrush after using inhalers.
I have now developed thrush on one side of my tongue. I use fostair 100/6, plus salbutamol as an reliever. I do rinse my mouth thoroughly with water, after using my inhaler. Can I buy Over the counter medication, or will I have to see my go. Thanks.

Xolair is working!
As the pollen count crept from medium to very high over the last week, I went about my daily business in the usual fear of not being able to catch a breath (pollen is my nemesis)! I don’t want to jinx myself but I’ve experienced what I can only describe as rather mild breathlessness (for me) and have

Post Suspected Covid-19 Asthmatic Cough
Hi, I am a 48 year old male that has mild-moderate asthma that is well controlled with Fluticasone and Salbutamol, with additional Montelukast during hay fever season. At the end of February, I had symptoms that were consistent with Covid-19 which made the breathing more of a struggle, though after

Relvar ellipta, Montelukast should I be shielding?
Hi, I know there have been a lot of similar questions but with the ever changing advice I’m feeling utterly confused. I take Relvar Ellipta 184/22, montelukast and salbutamol as needed. From what I can figure I think that means I should shield? Interpreting the guidelines when you don’t know the medication

Benralizumab injections
Hi all, Hope everyone is keeping well in the current climate. It’s 5.40am I’ve been up since 4am - good old predsomnia and being mid flare! Anyone here having Benralizumab injections for eosinophilic asthma and have still had flare ups? I had my first injection 3 weeks ago and was under the impression
