Easyhaler Salbutamol Sulfate inhaler
Have just had dispensed a different
salamol
inhaler, which is a dry inhaler and has a dose counter on the side. The latter should be easier to monitor instead of having to weigh
salamol
inhaler. Hope it is as effective as well. Wishing you all a pleasant weekend. 🤗

Ventolin vs salamol.
Finally told me it's because
salamol
is cfc free and its, 'better for the environment '. Have insisted on Caroline but they haven't put it on repeat. So will have to go through the whole saga again this month.

Salamol not as good!
I have tried to get on with
Salamol
but it just doesn’t work as well for me as Salbutamol. My asthma attacks always quickly abated with Ventolin but the new
Salamol
not only takes ages to ease my asthma attacks, but more often than not it just doesn’t work at all!

Ventolin Accuhaler
I am trying to move away from
Salamol
as a reliever and was really hoping to try a dpi inhaler instead. I suggested the Accuhaler to my GP but apparently it is not available anymore!? I am just wondering if this is true or if it’s another story to save the NHS money?

Asthma flare up!?
My asthma plan says that of I have a peak flow of 350 then use my
salamol
which I have. I have had low peak flow before before an asthma flare up. So I going to use more to see if it's going to increase my peak flow. I did 4 more
salamol
and peak flow 400.

Wool Blend Jumpers
In winter I normally have daily short, sharp attacks, very unpleasant but responsive to
salamol
. This attack unusually took an hour coming on, so we did all the normal things, air purifiers on, clear the bins etc.

Relvar Ellipta
At 70 (male), I developed asthma in November, and was given a
Salamol
inhaler and put on a course of steroids. Didn't have to use the inhaler for weeks, but by January, the asthma had gotten pretty bad and was getting worse. I was taking about 16 puffs a day.

Feeling overwhelmed
My GP prescribed
Salamol
which did nothing to help the breathlessness and chest tightness I'd been experiencing on walking my dog for the last few months.

Causes Of Breathlessness
There were very sharp attacks that my fostair made worse but I found I could control with my breathing exercises and
salamol
, and I was better half an hour later. More a breathing dysfunction than asthma, my physio says.

Taking Symbicort and AF
I already use
Salamol
but it is not very effective. I have permanent AF and I am on 5mg Nebivolol, 180mg of Diltiazem, 5mg Ramipril and Rivaroxaban. I know that some inhalers cause side effects with AF drugs, is anyone using this inhaler or has used it.

asthma & respiratory illnesses
Hi - I’m asthmatic and it’s always been mild for the most part (managed by
salamol
& clenil for my reliever and preventer). Whenever I get any form of respiratory illness it goes straight to my chest and I need steroids and antibiotics and have asthma exacerbations not really attacks.

Newly diagnosed with asthma
On
salamol
reliever (100mg) which helps a bit. Was taking steroid inhaler Beclometasome (200mg) but this did nothing. I am now on the Turbohaler (200mg) and this seems to be a bit better. Not sure if i need to be on a stronger dose so going back to GP.

Salamol Easi Breathe
I was prescribed this by mistake I think. Anyway I've been on Ventolin for decades (I'm 72 soon) It is the same ingredient has Ventolin but works so very much better as it forces me to sit up and inhale deeply. I feel so much better. I'm asking for a repeat!
