Salamol

It's probably blocked,I'd rewash it and clear the hole in the blue case
I've washed all of them none work just been to chemist for my salamol out of stock since yesterday what can I do not had it this morning
I would look in the mouthpiece and poke the round hole with a thin 📌 📍
Perhaps ask the pharmacist to give you a ventolin instead if it agrees with you. Fostair went through a period of blocking around the 75 remaining puffs mark. I used to clean the inverted nipple part on the inhalers plastic holder (where the spray comes out) with a wet cotton bud & twisting it round, then do the same with a dry one. Half the time it worked. Such a waste of medication.
Apparently it isn't the pharmacist's responsibility to replace faulty ones, it's up to the manufacturer.
Several complaints about Salamol getting blocked recently.
Ask your GP to prescribe ventolin which is a good quality inhaler unlike Salamol. It is more effective and will last much longer.
I had a problem when they changed me from Ventolin to Salamol. Mine had like bits in it and made me cough ,my Asthma nurse at the hospital wrote to my doctor and asked her to put me back on Ventolin.
The Salamol inhalers I used to get frequently stopped working. It was as if they didn’t have enough propellant in them to dispense. After a struggle I got my pharmacist to give me Ventolin and I don’t have the problem with them.
It's quite possible it won't matter soon. I'm no longer being prescribed it, and have been told to use Luforbec as preventer and reliever. According to my asthma nurse, when not used correctly, it can cause more issues than it relieves.
My chemist didn't have salamol he gave me airomir autohaler I can't get used to it don't no how to work it what can I do
Watch this video - “How to use an Autohaler” on Asthma + Lung UK website on YouTube 👍Hope that helps you use it until you get things sorted out properly.
I believe the pharmacy like to return faulty inhalers because it is dangerous to be given a medication that doesn't work. So I would say take the faulty ones back and request Ventolin, it's a better inhaler. Good luck.
Yes it's been used how can I take it back
I keep a used case spare clean it and throw the cylinder so I've got spare one when it blocks again .
