in agony, after stopping zoladex treatment
I've written before, ive got endo, but was getting high fevers and severe pelvic pain and bleeding. Gyno said it was unheard of to have fevers with endo, but said to try zoladex and if that worked it would prove it was my endo. The injfections did stop all the pain and everything was great from pelvic

Update on Oxycodone
Hello all my restless friends. I said I would let you know how I fared with starting oxycodone. I have now been taking 5 mg. Longtec (oxycodone) for two weeks. This tablet is slow release over 12 hours. For the first few days I played about with the time of taking and have now settled on 8.00 p.m

Mirapex should be outlawed
I’ve been weaning off of Mirapex for 2 1/2 weeks now, down to breaking a .125 in half (using half) and using 150 mg of Lyrica along with oxycodone and an iron pill before bed. Last night I assumed I could finally stop taking any Mirapex (since 1/2 a pill seemed so small). My legs jumped horribly again

RLS/Augmentation and Refractory RLS
I have been dealing with RLS for almost 40 years. It wasn’t until 1996 that I was officially diagnosed through a sleep study. I was prescribed Sinemet at the lowest dose, and over the course of 5 years developed augmentation. Doctors tried prescribing other types of medications such as antidepressants

Love some advice about oxycodone
This post is for anyone of you who can perhaps advise me about starting oxycodone or not. As I have said I have been on 30 mg. codeine for many years but for quite a while this has not been helping much at all - perhaps easing symptoms for about an hour before they break through again. What are the

When to apply Neupro patch
Hi, all. I'm a new member to this great community. I took the name rls_optimist, because I strongly believe there are effective treatments (combinations, in my experience) that will work for everyone. One just has to experiment and never give up hope. And never cease searching out good, expert information

Surgery with CLL
June 2018 I have CLL & recently needed surgery for a keratoacanthoma (a type of skin tumour) on my chest. I kept a diary of the events in case it happens again, but then thought I may as well post it here. So here goes … 69 YO male in Australia with CLL. Been on Ibrutinib for 9 months. It has been

More info about me.
I am new to this kind of group, so I hope you will let slide anything I do wrong. Anyway, as post says, more info. My prostate cancer migrated to my sciatic nerve in my left leg. That diagnosis took 1 1/2 years to find. Once I was sent to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, they diagnosed me in 15 minutes.

My Medications for Fibromylgia
I started out with the usual like tramadol, Hydrocodone, etc. Finally I told the Doctor I wanted Oxycodone and he gave it to me. Almost instantly pain gone. My oxycodone had no aspirin in it due to possible liver damage. I started out with 14 5mg per day, now since the scare on opioids, I am down

Osteo arthiritis or a flee bite in the groin.
I am reading some letters in this forum which made me wonder if I had the right department or the comedian section... On one side we have poor ladies in a lot of pain unable to cope, and on the other side a lady who writes about from couch to running the 3k or whatever, which for sure must be rectified

Help with pain
Over 50 years I have tried many medications. I have found the best solution is to take 800 mg of gabapentin at the same time as 10 mg of oxycodone Liquid. If I take them separately they do not work. I take them four times a day and I find that I can usually do some voluntary work with this amount of

Oxycodone/Naloxone
My husband’s restless legs became severe about 2 months ago. He tried changing diet and several drugs- most recently the Neupro patch which offered some relief. He just had open heart surgery to repair a valve. For several days after surgery there was no restless leg. Now it has come back. I believe

Thank You My Friends
With Fibro and diabeties every morning when I try to move my toes they won't move. Also my toes have begun curling on me. I hate the pain but 45 miligrams of oxycodone daily is only thing that helps, that and Lyrica. I am 68 and too imagine the few remaining years I have left to be nothing but pain

Update on myself and looking for all of your wisdom out there.
Just got all of my bloodwork back. My PSA is steadily climbing. After 6 rounds of chemo, daily casodex, 2 Lupron shots. Went from 138 psa, down to .09. My MO then started the Zytiga, prednisone, and continual lupron shots. Went to 1.71 then 3.71 and now 7.78. I also had a colonoscopy two weeks ago. Found

RLS Hope
Greetings, all. This is my first posting to this site, although I have been following it for some time. First, I want to thank everyone who has posted here – and particular thanks to Raffs and others with broad experience who have generously shared their knowledge. Although I wouldn't wish this condition

Fellow suffers. Here is my history. Everything that has happened with treatment.
Dear my fellow suffering, I thought it be best to write a little narrative of how and when my symptoms first began. For years I suffered from yeast infections. In the year 2000-2001 I fell from a very high surface onto my coccyx bone, that same week I also got a very bad urinary track infection
