Prenatal Vitamins
Please could someone who has read It Starts With The Egg and Brain Health From Birth, both by Rebecca Fett, tell me which Vitamins are advised to take in the book? I have my Day 5 fresh embryo transfer on Tuesday and plan to take prenatals as if my pregnant rather than TTC. I still have so many vitamins

Causes of lower Active B12
Hi - what are the reasons for Active B12 being low or rather lagging behind serum B12 for some people? I am, very fortunately, currently getting 3x a week Hydroxocobalamin injections and am finally starting to do well!! My B12 was tested during a short gap in treatment - it was >2000 (I know testing

B12 deficiency and night sweats query
Hi - I don't have a diagnosis but I hope you don't mind if I pick your expert brains š I (Female, 45) have fairly regular blood tests due to medication I take for inflammatory arthritis. My MCV has been a little bit high for years (up to 102). Early on doctors would question it and because of a family

Alendronic Acid
It has been recommended that I take Alendronic Acid to protect my bones whilst taking Prednisone as I now have Osteoporosis. To be honest given the potential horrendous side effects of Alendronic Acid which on top of those of taking Prednisone and of course the impact of having GCA I am reluctant to

Losing my worms
I struggle to find my words and it feels like it's getting worse. I'm really hoping that it's reversing out. Has anyone else felt their mental symptoms (fog, confusion, memory, mood) get worse before getting better on B12 treatment? I've been SIing eod for about 9 months and am also, much more recently

Can anyone comment on my daughter's blood tests and advise what - if anything - we should do next?
My daughter is 18. I first requested blood tests with the GP when she was 15. This was during covid. I had to fight over the phone for them but she'd put on weight rapidly, she especially looked to be retaining fluid in her legs, feet, hands and face. Other symptoms = tiredness, slow movements, dry eyes

B1 Thiamine.
30+- days of Thiamine trial. It has been life changing. (At the dosage I administered) See Elliot Overton for result based research not unproved projections utilizing conjecture about the meaning of scientific study. I used a different method to deal with the healing too quickly. Rather than adjust

Anaemia caused by PRD?
I had pelvic/abdominal radiotherapy treatment almost 50 years ago and started to suffer problems with digestion about 20 years ago, put down at the time, to IBS. In 2017, I underwent a hemicolectomy and the surgeon told me at the time that my small bowel was quite damaged commenting that she was surprised

Ok so I am hopefully going to be starting injecting every other day soon (possibly end of this week), but canāt just yet and I donāt know how to cope. I aināt sleeping, I am peeing loads and have terrible bladder pain. Dr Klein says this does happen to some people. But I have also started seeing things

Struggling with PMR and Pred
Hello, am newish in the group. Just updated my bio with my story and how I ended up where I am. I have had PMR like symptoms since around 2003, that seem to flare for a few months and then goes back to being just about liveable with for a while when self medicating with ibuprofen, before flaring

It does seem I feel best when Iām injected by the nurse. I order my own supplies to SI at home in between nurse injections

Is it B12 anemia? Iām confused.
Hello all, Iām new here and not sure if I need to pursue some concerns I have with my health so wondered if anyone could possible give me some advice/guidance. Iāve always been tired, (itās a family joke!), struggled with gut issues (mainly constipation), and in the last 5 or so years had terrible brain
