I'm wondering if anyone on these boards has been recommended to consider taking these. They are thought to, possibly proven to, strengthen capillaries, so if that's the case, mightn't they not tend to prevent bleeds? I've taken rutin for years and years, but at the time my CNV/AMD started I was using

Vitamin D cofactors
Hi everyone. I'd appreciate any comments on whether it is necessary when using a vitamin D supplement to take supplements magnesium, vitamin K, zinc, boron and vitamin A if I already have a good diet including spinach, carrots, nuts, seeds eggs etc? For example a recent blood test showed magnesium level

Does Interferon affect BMB results?
Dx ET JAK2+ with platelets rarely over 600 (just from blood tests). Was on hydroxyurea for 3 years, now on Roferon A (interferon) 3 x weekly for 10 months. I have just started noticing an improvement with symptoms but i would like to request a BMB and was wondering whether interferon can affect the results

Well woman vitamins
I had my thyroid gland removed over 20 years ago, I’ve been taking well woman vitamins for a few months but after reading some reports I’m unsure if I should be taking them or not. Also it recommended to take the vitamin a few hours after the thyroxine, I’ve been taking them at the sane time. Does anyone

Itching in hands and feet only - anyone else have this?
Hi folks, I was diagnosed with PBC some years ago now at only 29. I am on urso, my liver seems to be doing really well and I'm generally reasonably healhy except for the itching I have been struggling with for the last 3-4 years. I know those with PBC often suffer "the dreaded itch" but I wondered if

The Top 20 Foods High In Vitamin C
When most people think about vitamin C, the image of an orange suddenly appears in their mind. However, it is not only citrus fruits that contain vitamin C, and so many foods are full of it. According to the latest recommendations, adult males need 90 mg and females require 75 mg of this essential vitamin

Vitamin A Toxic Liver
So I think my fibrosis comes from overuse of vitamin A. I took it for years to treat cystic acne and it did help. But when I was having bad breakouts I took more than I should. I was told it could be toxic by one doctor. I just thought " it's a vitamin, how bad can it be?" And nothing seemed wrong.

Iv`e read that taking rutin supplements is supposed to strengthen veins & help haemoroids. The thing that I`m wondering about is, is it safe to take it long term?

Inhibition of estrogen signaling through depletion of estrogen receptor alpha by ursolic acid and betulinic acid from Prunella vulgaris var.
I really didn't want to get into a citations war where the results of one paper are immediately challenged by someone posting the results of a different or even contradictory study. I guess we all must make decisions as to which information we want to believe. Yes, cherry-picking, if you will. That said

Vitamin A? Please tell me have I done the wrong thing?
Have been thinking about TTC, then TTC, then had a miscarriage and back to TTC in the last 2 years. All the way through I've been taking a standard multivitamin and mineral tablet as it seemed to have everything in it, including folic acid. Then for some reason I read the small print yesterday and it
