I suspect it would depend upon what type of massage and where massage was going to be. I would think arms, legs would be soothing. Any position where you would be lying flat might have an affect.
I have had massages quite regurlarly from a very experienced and well qualified practitioner who has taught me a lot.
I would recommend you check out this blog and do some very careful questioning of your masseur before committing.
In the past when I have tried to have a massage it has been refused due to being on an A.C. The only ones allowed are face head and reflexology as far as I know.
