Back On Spironolactone And Asking For Help
Many of you here know my story: I began drinking again due to stress after losing disability benefits (because I'm too clever to be disabled and entitled to PIP, apparently - even though I'm epileptic to the point that I am a danger to myself and others) and found that I was unable to stop. I didn't

I been diagnosed with fatty liver disease because of alcohol and they said if i don't stop it will get worse and turn it to cirrhosis but it's not just alcohol that damage your liver has any one heard of nonalcohol fatty liver disease due to obesity.

I think I have just experienced the worst 24 hours of itching in my life, I am red raw, sore, very tired and feeling sorry for myself which I hope everyone realises I don't do very often.... And I am definitely putting down to the increase of my advagraf as it begins a few hours after I take them,

Rehab?
Has anybody here successfully gone through rehab after falling off the wagon? I told my consultant at the time that allowing me to cut down wouldn't work - it's like dangling a carrot in front of a starving donkey - but he asked me to try anyway. Well, I've been trying for a year, and getting nowhere

Changing diet
Hi I've been diagnosed with fatty liver disease and told to lose weight by my GP. I am trying but wondered if anyone out there has been told specifically what to eat/not eat by a Dr/dietician. Are there specific foods that affect liver surprisingly, for example? I drink a lot of herbal tea but not sure

Injections
I was recently diagnosed with wet macular degeneration, I am 38 years old. I am receiving injections and I am wondering how much pain afterward is normal. For a full day or longer I feel as tho my eye is simultaneously on fire and about to explode. That is as close to describing it as I can. It is to

Help with Charles Bonnet Syndrome
If anyone has any suggestions or know of anything that might help a sufferer of Charles Bonnet Syndrome - who is having constant extremely disturbing hallucinations, which are disrupting their daily activities and preventing them getting a good nights sleep. It would be appreciated. Has been prescribed

Fatty liver disease the silent epidemic
Your diet and exercise regimen has a tremendous impact on your health. Lack of a healthy diet and exercise increases risk for fatty liver disease. There are two types of fatty liver disease nonalcoholic fatty liver and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Of the two, NASH is more serious and may result

Inflammatory Bowel Disease and liver health
Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Individuals with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may have an increased risk for NAFLD. Get tested to reduce the risk.

Fatty Liver
Hi, I've been told a while back by my doctor that I had a fatty liver. My history is I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and consequently started a course of Chemo. I think my fatty liver started from there but can't be sure. My doctor does regular blood checks and I made an appointment a couple

Diet change.
I went to see my specialist nurse the other day. She's lovely and we get on really well, the trouble is we end up talking about irrelevant things. So this time I made a concerted effort to ask something useful. Which was if I had a fatty liver or not. The answer to which was yes. I had already cut right

Recent diagnosis of Fatty Liver
While being checked for something else, I have just recently been diagnosed (from an ultrasound) with having a fatty liver. I have been a heavy social drinker (one or two cocktails and then red wine with dinner) almost every evening. I never got drunk so maybe I just have always had a high tolerance
