Has anyone ever had this done? I just want to know if it's painful

Stent Removal
Hi I had a kidney stent removed a few years ago. It was put in following an op to remove a kidney stone. It was removed using a flexible scope. It was ok mainly, but when it went through the prostate it was extremely painful to be honest. It lasted about 10 seconds during which I did resort to quite Anglo Saxon speech 🥴. I asked about applying more numbing gel but the doc said it wouldn’t help except for the initial insertion (which it probably did).
I'm due to have my stent removed in a few weeks but they said they will be going through my penis to remove it. I'm not a fan of tunings going on there
Yes that’s how it’s done. A flexible scope with a camera is put through ‘japs eye’.
Ouch that sounds horrible maybe I'll try get them to knock me out I can't have things going down my japs eye I'm not that type of guy. Had to have a catheter done like that before my op and it was terrible
It wasn’t pleasant to be honest. It felt like a red hot knitting needle going through the prostate. Maybe it differs from person to person, but I wouldn’t want it again. They might do it under a general if you ask I guess.
I had my stent removed through the penis last year. The numbing gel does help for insertion but the doctor will warn you that he’s going by your prostate and when he does it is very painful.
Where did you have stent fitted? I got mine from kidney to penis
I had the same procedure and was not painful at all, I was very surprised and pleased. lol.
