Is it dangerous
Hello I’m hoping someone can give me answers. I had a stent fitted to my RCA in March and my left circumflex has 40% non significant plaque tested by wire study. All my other arteries are clear. I had a call from my dr last week saying that my thyroid has become borderline under active so therefore he

What exercise permitted after stent. Covid-19’Lockdown severely limits outdoor exercise
Had a stent fitted just before Covid19 lockdown. Went well but no follow up except one phone call. Can I get on exercise bike to do some light pedalling? Have done some short walks but supposed to be at home since 73 years old. Thanks

Palpitations two years after bypass op
Hello all. I had a double bypass and a stent fitted two years ago. I occasionally feel mild palpitations and shortness of breath which go away after a few hours. Has anyone else experienced similar conditions and shouldI be worried? Thanks.

Getting out of breath
Hi all, I had a heart attack on the 6 Feb this year, I was rushed into hospital and had a Stent fitted immediately. Following this procedure I felt great, I’m on lots of drugs as you would imagine. However over the past week I have been getting out of breath when doing housework and walking. Obviously

Done Angiogram, now advised to do triple bypass!!! My world is crashed. I'm trembling with fears!
I muster enough courage for an angiogram. Thanks for all the encouragements from this forum. It surely helps! I was Hoping that a stent or balloon can do! But I was now smacked with Triple Bypass!!! I'm so afraid of needles, pain and had white coat syndrome. My bp shot to 200/100 while in hospital.

Coming off Clopidogrel
Coming off clopidogrel. Hi I’ve just come off clopidogrel just over a week ago, I had HA with stent fitted in the LAD 12 months ago, been back into hospital twice in Feb as I started getting pain in chest, first time they thought it may be unstable angina, and put it down to HA last year, second time

Pain in feet and Ankles
Sudden cardiac arrest 3yrs ago. 1 stent fitted in LAD, medication - Ramapril 1.5mg, Bisopropol 1.5mg, Atorovastatin 80mg, aspirin. Fully recovered and returned to lots of exercise/fitness at same level as before. Had urinary infection in early January which took two courses of antibiotics to clear, since

Rehabilitation & Meds questions.
Three months ago and whilst on holiday abroad I had a heart attack and subsequently a stent fitted. Having contacted my GP surgery recently, the doctor mentioned if such operation took place in the UK, I would have been referred to a rehabilitation programme. 1. Though am fine I believe it would benefit

Shielding
Hi, I took a heart attack 2018 and had a stent fitted, I haven’t had a letter to say I’m in the shielding group, so is that a good sign?

Pain in stent area
To anyone who understands stents-:) I have had a stent placed since 16 months ago and started instroducing bicep and tricep curls using 2kg dumb bells. Could this cause mild pain/discomfort in the stent area. It doesn’t affect my breathing but I just thought to ask this group if it is normal to feel

Underwear
Heart attack and stent fitted 2 days ago. First symptom was tightness in the chest - I thought my bra was too tight. Earlier today I had a major panic attack - it seems I’m frightened of my underwear. I know it’s a ‘Pavlov’s Dog’ thing but anyone else experienced this? Any benefit changing from wired
