Hi Guys , Emigrated here “ Swansea” from South Africa 9 weeks ago , heart attack and quad bypass at 49 , 4 years later another heart attack , clot passed thru. Jult 2017 I had same symptoms I’m feeling now and had Severe blockage with many clots shown on angiogram had have a stent . Cardiolist insisted I must have tests every 6 months under strict cardiolost care .

Any symptoms like I’m experiencing now I must get immediate care. I have just got my NHS number and registers with local GP. Please need advice to get Carfiologist care ASAP. Michael. Sent from my iPhone

A referral to a cardiologist has to be made by your GPs. If you have not done so already make an appointment tomorrow to start the process.

However, if you are experiencing symptoms ring 999. They should send out paramedics to check you over. If there is an issue they will take you to A&E.

Hi Strandloper

You wrote in your thread

' Any symptoms like I’m experiencing now I must get immediate care.'

I agree with Michael the best way to get the care you say you need ASAP is to ring 111 or 999

I remember you saying you were moving to Swansea - glad you managed the move just before "lockdown" I would think?? I don't know which gp surgery you are with but I'm sure following a visit to see your gp they will send you for testing. The waiting list is probably longer than normal due to virus. If you ring the 111 helpline & describe your situation there is every chance they will fast track you to A&E to get tested thus avoiding a doctors letter & possible waiting time. Do let us know how you get on - seems like you brought the good weather with you just a shame Joe's has been closed🍦. Hope you get sorted soon
