Pancreatic issues, post liver transplant
Hi, has anyone had issues with their pancreas, post liver transplant. I had my transplant 16months ago, and due to ongoing pain and bowel issues, they conducted an MRCP, which showed, I have an Atrophic pancreas, any info would be great. Thank you

Feeling extremely confused??had my 6 month liver Doppler today and was advised my spleen is enlarged!! Knew that!! So I asked how’s my liver
At this point, bear in mind six years down the line I’ve been advised to have my gallbladder removed!!!! Liver is slightly upset but nothing to worry about, I wanna scream 😱

Is cannabis safe with liver disease
My partner who was diagnosed with decomposed liver in March has taken to smoking cannabis does anyone know if this is safe ? Or can this cause further damage. I guess it’s substituting one bad thing fir another but it’s keeping off I hope it’s keeping him off the drink We had his bloods back a week

Stopped drinking 3months and now liver enzymes rising.
I stopped drinking 3 months ago. All bloods have been in range until now. My recent test put my ALT at 44. Which I know is not that high but why is it suddenly high now. I did have a body rash that my GP thought was viral on the same day I had the bloods done. Could a mild virus cause my ALT to rise?

Follow up additional tests for elevated ALP
Greetings Everyone! I hope that everyone is enjoying summer of 2021. I went in to see a gastroenterologist today. The doctor was very nice, he listened to all my concerns and answered pretty much all my questions. He ordered some additional testing, I think which is to rule out autoimmune hepatitis.

GGT over 450, high ALP, AST and ALT
Hi everyone, looking for some advice on behalf of my husband. He had routine blood work about 4 months ago which showed increased liver enzymes. Follow up blood tests ordered by the GP and ultrasound are all clear, apart from his liver markers. The latest (and third) set of bloods show GGT over 450,

Got a question can’t get straight answers
the thing is the doctor that took gallbladder out and did first ct scan he said liver looked normal. I asked him right after he finished taking gallbladder out he said liver looked normal. The ct scan with contrast from 2009 he did that also report says liver appears normal no focal lessions spleen normal

Liver fibrosis diagnosis
Got a question when I got treatment for hepatitis C and virus was gone I asked doctor if I had cirrhosis he said no. He said I was in between f2-f3 if that. He said he didn’t need to do biopsy. And when he took my gallbladder out he said liver looked normal. He did a ct scan with contrast and showed

Hello - I’m new and have questions.
Hi Everyone, I’m new here and very grateful for this group and information. I joined because after doing some research - I suspect I may possibly have PBC - even though my gastroenterologist suspects AIH (autoimmune hepatitis) instead. I would greatly appreciate your insights. I am a 65 year old female

Asking questions
Talking about liver cirrhosis is not easy. In my RL it's almost impossible, as it's highly stigmatized (that is my personal experience). So, I was happy to find such informative message board. I was able to learn a lot, only by reading. But recently it's changing. I've received PMs - I don't have a

Dear all: I have a question to people who have had their US done and were diagnosed with cirrhosis. I am confused as mine says - mild-to-moderate hepatomegaly, echogenicity is wnl, no significant steatosis, mild surface nodularity in keeping with chronic liver disease. One doctor ruled out cirrhosis,

Caring for mam Post Liver Transplant
So nervous! My mam is in the operating theatre finally getting her #livertransplant It's been a rough few years (including dealing with the alcoholism). I can't believe it's actually happening. Anyone been a carer for liver failure then transplant? Just wondering how long should I expect to continue

Hyperreflexia
I would love to hear others' experience with hyperreflexia as result of PA. I have periods (often in the last days before my injection), when I get low-level random muscle twitches, mostly in my arms and back, then they subside. I have been found to be hyperreflexive in reflex tests since my PA diagnosis
