Liver Rejection

Hi everyone hope you’re all well, some may have seen my posts before

So had liver transplant about two and half years ago now and haven’t had any issues apart from slight markers in my kidneys, so my first consultation since covid was three weeks ago and gave blood as usual.

Then this weekend received an appointment which I attended today, so long story short my consultant called me in as my last bloods three weeks prior were showing liver markers on my results, I felt great going in today apart from diarrhea which I told him about and felt weak legged and anxious as he explained that the markers in my bloods could be either an infection or virus or actually the liver rejecting me, if it is rejection ive no idea why now, but apart from as I say the diarrhea and suddenly itchy legs ive no idea what I should I be looking for

Sorry for the length of the post but I’m extremely concerned and needed to vent to you guys to which I apologize for

Nothing to apologize for Paul, it must be worrying times.

Hopefully, this is a minor blip and they can get to the bottom of it quickly and it might just need a tweak of your meds to get a grip of it.

There is a Facebook group called Liver Transplant Support U.K. It is a closed group and has plenty of people who have been through the whole transplant journey, you are more likely to find some shared experiences there.
