Has anyone succeeded using bluetooth microphone to amplify patients voice so it can be heard on bluetooth hearing aids?
Hi, My wife (78) was diagnosed with PSP about 30 months ago and is in slow decline. Her voice is getting weaker and I am finding it difficult to hear what she says, much of it is mumbled. My hearing aids are bluetooth enabled, so I wondered if anyone had managed to amplify a patient's voice using

Herpes (or acyclovir usage) affecting implantation after ivf embryo transfer?
I have had herpes for about 10 years. I have noticed more outbreaks during stims. I've already had 2 failed transfers and am worried both that having herpes and /or taking acyclovir will affect implantation for my last transfer. I've read some conflicting studies on acyclovir and it's effect on implantation

Workplace Injury
I work in the dental field and was trimming an imperino I was taking on a patient. When trimming the impression, he scalpel slipped and cut my finger fairly deeply. I checked the impression and there was no obvious blood contamination, likely only a small amount of saliva. After following proper protocol

Possible NHS misdiagnosis saying clear for HPV when private home test says positive with variant 16 (the test and smear were 14 days apart)
I have tested HPV positive for 2 smears a year apart, the last one was Oct 2023. So I went for my third on 18 Jan this year and have just been given the all clear and told it will repeated in 5 years (which I doubt as I will be 71 then). HOWEVER, I had already done a home test with Medicines Online

My glove upgrade lost its buzz..
Hi, My PD/Tass glove prototype seems to have lost its “buzz” when my partner swapped the old/vinyl look (on the right in the picture) with the clean new look (on the left in the picture). Using the SAME power/arduino etc. it seemed that it should work great until I put them on my hands and realized

Carnosine as potential initial PCa treatment
Researchers have discovered that a naturally-occurring molecule could potentially be an effective first line of treatment against prostate cancer. Nottingham Trent University (NTU) scientists investigated the anti-cancer properties of carnosine, which can be produced in the body and is also found
