Hi Cujokera I loved reading your upbeat positive post! You are so right, we are living with cancer and we need to just make the most of each day! I’m coming for a year on ibrance and Letrozole and all is going well I’m stable, which is the most I could ask for! I’m coming up for 64 this may from UK and loving life and my grandchildren, long may this treatment continue for all of us xxx

Everyone has something...this is our something and you are embracing it and living with it....stay positive...I am six years in with MBC and am more active now than before...water aerobics and yoga. I have dropped foot either from a shot or rads, but I work to keep my core strong to not fall. Taking exercise VERY seriously.

Your journey sounds so similar to my mom’s. She, too, is taking each day as it comes, making the most of life! Some weeks are harder or easier than others, but being adaptable and open to change seems to be important. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations on your positive attitude! I was interested in your losing 3" in height. The last time my height was measured, years ago, both my husband and I found we'd lost inches. We decided it was simply our ages (mid to late 70's then). According to Harvard Health, it is true that most people lose inches in middle age, but exercise, good posture, and proper diet help.

Hicthere.the inches I lost in height was due to 4 compressed fractures of my vertabrae..this,was due to the cancer.intially I was 5'6 now 5'2..I didn't notice the loss of height until my son's all over 6 feet said..geeze you are short mum..I had to laugh ..next visit I had to my oncologist I got them to measure me..sure enough..was now in the short brigade.oh well doesn't phase me ..my feet are now firmly closer to the ground lol
