Good morning all,
Next Tuesday 8th April from 12:00-1:00pm, we are delighted to be hosting a webinar on the topic of 'Ovarian cancer and Diet: Mythbusting' with dietitian Rachel White.
In this webinar, Rachel will give an overview on the current nutrition recommendations and research. The session will cover some of the most commonly asked diet questions, including:
Should I be avoiding ultra processed foods?
Do I really need to avoid sugar with cancer?
What is the link with soy and cancer?
Are dietary supplements necessary?
Once Rachel has spoken, we will open the session to questions. As with all our sessions, there is no obligation to participate. Whilst the session will be recorded, attendees will have cameras and microphones off, so your attendance is anonymous.
Rachel is a registered clinical and sports dietitian. She works part-time in the NHS as a specialist oncology dietitian, supporting patients throughout their cancer journey from diagnosis to living with and beyond cancer. Outside of the NHS she runs her own business, Rachel White Nutrition, providing specialist support to athletes to optimise their sporting performance through nutrition.
Rachel is on the expert advisory panel at Ovacome, and has hosted a number of webinars, as well as sessions at our Health and Wellbeing Days.
