Tomorrow is first full dose of ocrevus
Getting nervous now. I wonder since this is 600 MG. And the first doses were 300 MG. Does this take more time or another bag. Is the full dose just more potent? So many questions. I will have 50 MG of benadryl and steroids before. I will take a valium and tylenol. I did fine on half doses so i

Is Juice Plus for Stage 5 CKD?
A friend of ours sells Juice Plus & wants to sponsor our 12 year old daughter with Goodpasture Syndrome & Stage 5 CKD. He just sent her a huge box of the Juice Plus Gummies. Does anyone know if these are safe for her to take? They have no sodium but I cannot find any information about the potassium &

Breathlessness while on Keppra
I started with Epilepsy about 4 years ago and eventually the fits settled on Keppra having tried both Lamotragine and sodium valporate. After 3 years on 1000 mg per day split into 2 doses, I suffered a really bad reaction to the Keppra- intense nausea, bad back ache and dreadful confusion and the dose

Benefits of celery juicing
I received an email today from Medical Medium https://www.medicalmedium.com/ today about the benefits of celery juice which I think has a lot of good going for it. So I would like to share the points verbatim. My personal experience is drinking celery and cucumber juice daily, and initially three

Looking for support....new friends who can relate. I'm feeling desperate and terrified! Please reach out to me!
I habe been struggling with horrific anxiety for years and formed a dependence on the opiod medicine tramadol. I am now weaning off that med and I am terrified. I am on seroquel XR and that helps the depression/thoughts of suicide but dealing with such severe anxiety while waiting for a new med is almost

Entering Another Phase
For the first 58 years of my life I have thoroughly enjoyed eating. To the point that I’ve been obese most of my adult life. Let’s just say I have had very few people in my lifetime tell me I needed to eat. That is until my wonderful strolling companion, LBD, and I made it much farther down this dark

I got my energy back and got rid of all the symptoms...
I got rid of my symptoms when I got enough potassium. It took me some time to find out (browsing research results on pubmed) that one of the reasons hyperthyroidism can be dangerous is that high levels of thyroid hormone depletes the body of potassium. Together with the fact that many of the side effects

Bicarbonate of soda eased my ectopics
Hi all I have been writing to members describing a potential relief I have experienced from my lifelong VEB's. Please disregard. It seems that the effects of taking sodium bicarbonate can be severe and include violent diarrhoea and other issues. So I will just keep on with my magnesium tablets and anti-depressants

Can anyone help me interpret / argue my blood results to my GP?
Hi, I had a full run of bloods last week which have all been signed off as "satisfactory" by the GP. This doesn't solve anything, as I'm still so exhausted that I sleep through 3 alarms including a sunlight alarm clock every morning and can barely keep my eyes open all day. I'd be really grateful

New Blue Horizons Vitamin and Mineral test!

Fluoxetine severe reaction and withdrawals
I was on Lofepramine for about six years. Unfortunately before Christmas it became unavailable due to two of the manufacturers relocating. In January my GP transferred me onto fluoxetine after tapering down the Lofepramine. Almost from day 1 of taking the fluoxetine I got severe migraines on a daily

Please help with return of symptoms - GP says he has no explanation
I was diagnosed in March 2018 Blood test TSH level 5.1 I was given 50 micro grams of Levothyroxine. This made me feel a lot less tired and all my other symptoms went. I stopped putting weight on but still couldn’t lose any. I felt like I could have benefited from a tiny bit more Levothyroxine but blood

New Test Results (feedback please) and Mixed Endo Results (US)
I would love some feedback on these labs from you wonderful people. Met with endo and they completed first round of testing (after gp refused to do any increase in NDT medication even though symptoms AND fT3/4 levels were worse). There was good and bad. Endo will not do rT3, saliva cortisol, active
