Getting nervous now. I wonder since this is 600 MG. And the first doses were 300 MG. Does this take more time or another bag. Is the full dose just more potent? So many questions. I will have 50 MG of benadryl and steroids before. I will take a valium and tylenol. I did fine on half doses so i really hope i do fine with this full dose. Its my neurotic personality freaking out just a little. Thanks for listening

Jkdavid99...If you did fine with the 2 half doses, you should be fine with the full dose. I had no problems at all and I was a little nervous like you are. You’ve got this!

You will do great! I had my second half dose yesterday. I totally understand the trepidation that comes with taking new meds/increasing doses. I wish you all the best good luck!

jkdavid99 I had pretty much the same concerns as you prior to my first full infusion. First, the time that it takes for the full dose is about the same time as the 1/2 dose. The infusion Ocrevus is delivered in a faster manner, as long as it is tolerated by you. No, it is not two bags, just one, and it is the same size as a 1/2 dose bag. For my last full infusion in February, I was given 2 Tylenol tablets, Benadryl tablets, and steroids. In the past, the Benadryl was infused. I prefer the tablets. I did a more complete post about my Ocrevus infusion experience, if you wish to learn more. All the best for your upcoming infusion.

Keep Smiling,

Carole

Nothing to be nervous about. Just enjoy and should be quicker than before!

Yours was quicker? My first full infusion was 2 hours longer.

Thanks everyone. yesterday was successful. No reactions of any kind. It did take longer about 2 hours. And once it went to the last step at 200. I started to feel a little pressure in my chest but at that point i was so drugged up with 50 mg of benadryl, valium and steroids, i just powered through. Thanks everyone. Next dose is sept 16th. And this morning i am a little tired but i couldn't sleep last night either. So today is just for relaxing. 👍

Best of luck to you. I know you will be okay after doing fine with the first two half doses. Try to relax and enjoy a movie on tv. Once again good luck. I will be thinking of you. God Bless.
