Can I drop AdCal as long as I'm taking high dose Vitamin D?
I saw my GP this morning and my markers indicate that my GCA flare is over - I certainly feel much better. Because I had kidney stones at the same time as the flare I stopped AdCal as calcium supplements were seen as a possible cause of kidney stones; I continued with high calcium diet and Vit D 2000i.u

I'm using Hope tinctures for the burning pain in my back but it doesn't seem to be totally helping. Is there a stronger tincture or do I need to change how I take it?

Postoperative Circulating Tumor Cells
New Korean paper below [1]. The study was on "203 patients with undetectable {PSA} who had undergone radical prostatectomy". Over a third had circulating tumor cells [CTCs] ("at a median of 4.5 months after surgery.") "CTC detection was independently associated with an increased risk of biochemical recurrence

Doctor/Patient relations
PwP, don't be jealous of me because I have a doctor that is not letting holidays get in the way. I have a new neurologist that I am "training".. She is better at connecting with her patients than my previous doctor. I and her do not agree on the ideal dose for my Parkinson’s treatment. She is skeptical

Possible preventative mastectomy
Hi, following treatment for stage 4 ovarian cancer I found out I have the BRCA1 gene. I was tested due to my age at diagnosis and family history of breast cancer. I’m now considering preventative double mastectomy with reconstruction. I’m due to see the surgical team on Friday to discuss my options.

6 weeks post surgery and I want sex
I’m 57 yrs old living in SF and in a great gay relationship. Only six weeks post radical prostatectomy and I had my first dry orgasm, which was great but odd because nothing come out. I was always the top in the relationship, but cannot longer get an erection (hopefully temporary). I’d consider trying
