I don’t see my long post so I’ll type it again
Husband had radical prostatectomy in 2004. Ok til PSA started to rise in 2010 so had 37 radiation treatments. Did well until this year. Jan started bleeding badly in urine. In and out of hospitals due to the excessive bleeding. May 2021, PSA started to rise again. 1.9 to 3. Doc ordered PET and Bone scan

Post-hysterectomy
Hi! I am 4 days post op following my hysterectomy - this was successfully carried out laparoscopicly and my tubes, uterus and cervix were taken. With the exception of one being adhered to something, my ovaries looked relatively healthy so I kept them. For anyone due to have a hysterectomy in the future

Hysterectomy during covid times
Hello, I've just received the date for my hysterectomy - Jan. In the letter it states that I should get a relative to pick me up at 7.15am the next morning which will be less than 24 hours after the surgery. This seems very quick! I've asked for clarification from the hospital on this but was wondering

Appointment with Rheumatologist and my falling!
Well, yesterday was my visit to the rheumatologist. But let’s go back to Friday when I rang the GP after seeing the pharmacist on Thursday. My right shin and left ankle, which were both badly bruised after a second fall in three weeks, had become swollen and yellow/white inside with what looked like

NCCN re-revises low-risk guidelines
This is probably a tempest in a teapot. NCCN, one of the top organizations that establishes the standard-of-care in the US, has once again changed its low-risk guidelines. It caused a bit of a storm earlier this year when they removed the word "preferred" after "active surveillance" for low-risk

kidney Pain
What’s others thought on Kidney Pain linked to Endo, It occurring more regularly now. I used to call it my side back pain, which I never had until I was put on HRT for PMDD, I never reacted well mentally to Oestrogen, but then I also learned the Oestrogen makes Endo grow, this was pre diagnosis. I believe

Adcal-D3
Hi, I fractured a vertebrae in my spine in September. I’m 66 with no family history of osteoporosis. Besides Hashimotos I also have Sjögren’s. My blood tests last year showed my vitamin D levels were inadequate so at my GP’s request I took vitamin D3. However, after a few months I began to have heart

Hysterectomy and Hashimoto's
Hello everyone, I had a hysterectomy five weeks ago due to Adonomyosis, fibroids and the beginnings of a tumour on one of my ovaries (which partly explains why I've been feeling awful for so long!). I felt good initially, but I'm now exhausted and getting some of the same symptoms I had pre-op (sinus

Hello all...
Hello all, I am new here. I was diagnosed with Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer in May 2021. The diagnoses came via a PE, Pulmonary Embolism. I have currently done 6 rounds of Chemotherapy, have had Debunking, & a totally Hysterectomy. Latest CA-125 was 11, which I'd like to be a little lower. My biggest issue

MBC Baggage
Excited off to Gretna Green in Scotland tomorrow to take our renewal of wedding vows before Christmas. We had to laugh at our baggage and oh how it has changed since our honeymoon baggage there many moons ago. My suitcase now exists of Ibrance, Adcal and painkillers if needed, hopefully not. My newTricia

I'm in a blooming Levothyroxine GP pickle again
Hi, I am having a right job with GP again, my t3 & t4 came back over range when I had them tested a couple of months ago. GP wanted to drop me straight from 175mcg to 150 but then agreed with me to do alternate days & re-test which I did. These have now come back in range but the GP won't have it that

Ibrance vs. Letrezol
Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone had a great time with family and friends. Does anyone take ibrance only without letrezol? I ask because the letrezol has caused me to gain a lot of weight. I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago I thought since I had that I would not need the letrezol anymore. Please
