Update: results of a recent PSMA PETscan
I wanted to share with you the results of my recent PSMA PET SCAN. A quick synopsis of my history: an 18+ year journey: radical prostatectomy in August 2003. PSA following surgery was 0.1. It slowly rose to 0.4 over a period of 11 years. Following a more rapid rise to .6, I had salvage radiation in

What type of b complex works better?
Recently I have noticed b complex get depleted along with B12 injection or talking timed release or infusion forms and it causes to feel cold specially at night. So I started to review b complex brands and their formulation. It's look like there is no any specific combination of b vitamin, some if them

Had seven weeks of radiation to the prostate bed at

Low B6 vitamin results
My doctor suggested I do a test for levels of all B vitamins. All were normal except B6 which was low. I do not take any PD medication yet. Any thoughts on this?

Breast Tenderness post Eligard
It's been a year since my last 3-month Eligard injection (following radical prostatectomy and salvage radiation) and my PSA level in late November has stayed undetectable while my testosterone level has risen to 13.2 nmol/L. Recently my breasts have become quite tender. Will this resolve on its own or

PCa-specific Survival after Radical Prostatectomy Is Improved by Metformin but not other Antidiabetic Drugs
New study from Finland below [1]. "Only postdiagnostic metformin use was associated with reduced risks of PCa death {53% reduction} and ADT initiation compared with nonusers." While Metformin users would be predominantly diabetic, it looks as though "nonusers" inxlude non-diabetics. "insulin and insulin

B Vitamins advice please
I’ve been doing well on jarrow sublingual b12 and Igennus super b complex, however, I’m sure I read on here that igennus is no longer recommended as a multi B? I’m about to order more but just want to check I’m getting a good brand. Also came across a jarrow product with folate - us that a better option

Radical Prostatectomy - Maybe It's Time is Past
I recently received this from Prostate Cancer News: Basically, research indicating that the related side effects make radical prostatectomy counter-indicated for Gay Men. You can read the entire article here: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2021/12/gay-men-should-never-have-prostatectomy.html It would

Hi there My hubby is on radium 223. He is after his 5th session. He has tolerated it well but has lost weight and his psa is now at 90. He has stayed on xtandi throughout. Darolutamide and scan question (2nd UPDATE 1/15/22) RESULTS of Pylarify scan Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Questions we should ask?
My husband has a rapidly rising PSA (from 1.28 on Oct 18th to 5.9 on Dec 10th) and he was scheduled to get a Pylarify scan on Jan 6th but with newest PSA reading doc wants to start darolutamide now and not wait for scan. He's never been shown to be metastatic and we are disappointed to not be getting

Surgeon says I'm intermediate risk, but I think I'm high risk based on the pathology report below
I had an RP in March of this year. The 3 psa tests I've had since then have been <0.1 my question my surgeon calls me intermediate risk, but according to my pathology report with T3a I think I'm high risk. Final Diagnosis: 1. Periprostatic fat, excision: - Adipose tissue with no tumor seen. 2

13 year Battle with Stage 4 PC
This is a long post - patience is advised. My warrior husband passed away on Nov 19 after a 13 year battle with Prostate Cancer. He was originally diagnosed in 2008 with a Gleason of 3+4 and PSA of 35 at age 59. He had a radical prostatectomy followed by 34 radiation treatments. His PSA remained undetectable
