Breast Tenderness post Eligard

It's been a year since my last 3-month Eligard injection (following radical prostatectomy and salvage radiation) and my PSA level in late November has stayed undetectable while my testosterone level has risen to 13.2 nmol/L. Recently my breasts have become quite tender. Will this resolve on its own or should I get some help?

You may want to get your estrogen level checked. If it is too high, tamoxifen 10 mg/ day will relieve your breast tenderness.

I was on ADT for 2 years, then stopped in April 2020. Breast tenderness started around August 2021 but has recently gone away. At last check in October, T was 411, PSA undetectable. Next PSA will be mid January 2022.

As far as hurting is concerned my nipple pain replaced a kick in my balls.........

I can no longer remember the timing of when my breast began hurting and when they stopped, but I am now more than 9 years with treatment of Lupron and Zytiga ( which included 3 “vacations) and my breast no longer hurt. Unfortunately, they are enlarged. However- I would gladly trade the enlarged size for the pain.

Yes, mine seem to be flopping around a bit more and I occasionally smack one when turning over in bed.
