side effects of prostap vs pain relief
Hi there, please forgive me if I make any mistakes here, I've never posted on this or any other forum before, but I'm hoping someone can help with advice. I have endometriosis. I was diagnosed 8 years ago, then told a year later that it was a mistake (because it didn't show up on an ultrasound scan)

Hi guys I'm meant to have my injections every 28 days and I'm on livial hrt, but having this one a week late. Having it tomorrow but have been getting a pain in my left groin is this because I'm having it late? Only coz I think tomoz is my last injections and having headaches and feeling sick today?

Morning all...some good news at the consultant yesterday: my oestrogen level has reduced from 225 to just 18 since being on Prostap SR (having had four injections). I did notice that although I am still in pain, the most severe pain is far less frequent and pain in general is lower in terms of level.

Hi, I am into my 4th month on prostap which is helping a lot with the endo pain but am still having quite a bit of time off work for other symptoms/side effects and I am now considering if it is worth looking to reduce hours/change jobs. I enjoy my job but have found it harder and more stressful the

Prostap, long protocol IVF
HI! I had my prostap injection on Wednesday and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how long after their injection they had a bleed? My next appointment is on the 10/5 and I am supposed to have a bleed in between. When I go back they will check the lining of my woumb and if nice and thin I can start

Progressing metastatic prostate cancer
I'm new here but have had Stage IV Prostate Cancer since July 2003. Originally 8 positive lymph nodes, Gleason 4+3, pT3b N1 Mx, PSA 33.5. Never have had physical symptoms but have undergone neoadjuvant hormone ablation, prostatectomy with extended lymphandectomy and then hormone ablation for 23 months

Monthly Prostap to 3 monthly Prostap
I have had 3 of the monthly injections and not really had many side effects. Consultant has suggested the next one, due this Friday, is the 3 monthly injection to save going back each month. Has anybody done this before and have you noticed any differences?

Prostap Query
Morning all, Can anyone tell me the longest period of time they've been on Prostap SR? I've had four injections thus far and due to end in two months but it does seem to be reducing the frequency of severe pain (albeit not entirely removing it altogether). I know the recommendation is six months because

Hi everyone, I was hoping if someone had similar experience as me. I had laparoscopy done on 13 th April which is like last week and doctors told me they found stage 3-4 endometriosis. It was so severe that the surgery took 4 hours. They gave me Prostap the next day and I was told that it might take

Large Cyst size and ca125 down, minimal side effects from Prostap (some night sweats which go when I chuck duvet off), stabbing pain on side of cyst reduced but still getting pain in lower back, top of bum and down left leg has never done

Pleased!
Been to see my general gyny for results of scan and ca125. Not been diagnosed with endo yet and been on Prostap for last 3 months. So pleased as left cyst reduced from 8.5cm to 3.5cm and ca125 gone from 70 to 21!. Also general gyny has agreed with me that it would be a good idea to have a referral to
