Norplant

Morning all...some good news at the consultant yesterday: my oestrogen level has reduced from 225 to just 18 since being on Prostap SR (having had four injections). I did notice that although I am still in pain, the most severe pain is far less frequent and pain in general is lower in terms of level.  I'm only allowed another three months of the Prostap and they are suggesting a Norplant.  My question is how have people who have used this method been coping with it?  Any criticisms, praise, etc. of the drug would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance..
