Phasing out Flecanide and Diltiazem
Hi all I had stopped my medication after the 3 month check up, consulting with my EP, but got lots of palpitations (
PVC
). No I’m back on it and feel good again. Has anyone made the same experience, and will I ever be in a position to stop medication?

PVCs more during night and rest than during day?
Why am I mostly fine in the day but they crop up at night or at rest, sitting down etc.? Is there a particular posture I should adopt at night in bed?

Recovering from COVID
Both my husband and I contracted COVID after nearly 2 years of being really, really careful and no arrythmias. Inevitably it put me into AF and PVC’s - on my 3rd bout this morning. The first 2 only lasted about 3-6 hours but were very symptomatic with near syncope if I try an upright position. The

Ventricular tachycardia
I had an ablation 5 weeks ago and since then I’ve been having PVCs which I never had before the ablation . The other night I was woken up and my HR 100/102 It lasted for a couple of minutes. I’ve looked up ventricular tachycardia and I’m wondering if that’s what I had . It can be caused by scaring of

Health Anxiety - It will create physical symptoms!!!
I guess it all started about 10 years ago. At the time I was a fairly new firefighter/paramedic. Saw all kinds of bad stuff, cancer, emphysema, heart attacks you name it. Without going in to too much detail let me just say that since 2010 I have self diagnosed (thanks to Mr. Google and my anxious mind

New Arrhythmia while sleeping
Is this considered Atrial Flutter or an Ectopic PAC
PVC
? Doctor wants me to wear a monitor to verify. Currently on 25 Metoprolol and tapered off Amiodarone, but this happened earlier in the week while still taking Amiodarone. It feels different than Afib, as I was able to sleep during Afib.

Anyone on Cholesterol Meds
Hi! I have an appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow. I have a history of A-Fib and PVCs and take meds for that. My cholesterol and triglycerides are high and have been for a long while. My former GP didn't want to add any more meds and was concerned about the side affects. My new GP who is very

Taken off Inhalers
Ok, met the new Plumo last week, have to say it didn’t go as expected. Without question I have had chronic bronchitis type symptoms now for many years and feel pretty crap most of the time. Wheeze, inability to get a deep breath, sense breathing is not good, morning cough and phlegm. My MEF25-75 is

Post ablation erratic heart rate
No more constant PAC,
PVC
, SVT etc so I'm feeling so much better and actually getting a bit of sleep for the first time in months. But, my resting HR is doing a very strange thing. I can be sitting watching TV and my resting HR will jump from 75 to 115 for no reason whatsoever.

Plaquenil and possible drug interaction to antibiotics
Hi! Last week I knew something else was off, but it wasn't until Friday, that I knew it was a UTI. Excruciating pain, fever, constant painful trips to the bathroom, etc. and a strip from Amazon showing leucocytes, protein and blood. So Sat. morning went to Express Care. 3 hours later (not so express

Review Thursday with Pulmo
Me again, Curiosity got the better of me and I went for that CT scan of the Thorax, thankfully the lungs were clear and showed no emphysema type changes. As some of you will know chronic bronchitis type changes aren't always as recognisable and the radiologist said in his eyes all was good but he’d defer

Thought it was ectopics
Hi everyone, I had an ablation in March this year for AF and after a couple of AF bouts in the 3 month blanking period it has thankfully not returned. Thing is, 2 months after the procedure I started getting daily ectopics, well I think that’s what it is. The skips and the thumping feeling in the chest

Finally managed to speak to my GP.
I finally managed to get through to my GP to advise her that I was really struggling with this laboured breathing and breathlessness I was experiencing on Bisoprolol 1.25mg, and that I had also developed a bit of a tickly cough. I told her I was petrified that I was in heart failure given that breathlessness
