FET - Day 3 or Day 5 embryos
Hi All, need some advice.. I have done egg collection - for Frozen embryo transfer - finally we had total of 4 embryos : - 2 (day 3 embryo) and - 1 (day 5 blast) and (1 day 7 blast) Dr gave us few suggestions - day 3 embryo looks like the best ones, so we can let to be cultured to day 5 blast and transfer

Copd/pulmonary fibrosis
Hi all, I have copd and
pulmonary
fibrosis
and over the last month I've gone down hill dramatically. Prior to Christmas I could walk round the house, manage a very small walk in the town, although I needed a taxi into town.

New Antimicrobial Peptide May Be Able to Treat Even Drug-Resistant CF Lung Infections.
Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Vaccine Research (CVR) have developed an engineered antimicrobial peptide effective against co-infection by bacterial microfilm and a virus, and as such is a possible new therapeutic agent against chronic and antibiotic-resistant infections. Importantly

ICSI - advice needed please
This is my first time posting on here and I would really appreciate advice from those with experience of icsi. My OH is older than me and had a vasectomy over 12 years ago. Given his age, and the reduced likelihood of a successful reversal we plan to go down the icsi route. I’m 29 with no know fertility

I am a retired doctor with a family history of

so I know the risks. Clearly this is a rare condition and not recognised by computer algorithms. I have practiced scrupulous social distancing and have not been shopping for groceries.

Hi, any lady based in Suffolk could be of great help to the community. Matt Hancock is MP there and also Minister for health. I cannot wrote to him as he only deals with his constituents. If you are based in Suffolk and happy to help on IVF, please get in touch here or on PM. I am trying to raise awareness

Moving forward after mmc
Hi, about a month ago I went to a scan and found out our baby had stopped growing and had no heartbeat. I had a d&c at what should have been 8.5 weeks pregnant almost 3 weeks ago. We have an appointment in a couple of weeks and then plan on doing a frozen transfer as soon as I get my period back. I

Anybody tried 'the Breather' device?
Hi all, anybody tried the 'Breather' (https://www.pnmedical.com/product/the-breather/)? I bought it like 11 days ago and have been trying to use it at least 2-3 times a day since. I'm actually struggling to use it the specified amount of times, but am finding it easier to blow into after using setting

Anaesthetic For Embryo Transfer
Good evening, Hope everyone is doing okay in these difficult times. Did anyone have local anaesthetic for their embryo transfer? We had a failed transfer last month and it was horrifically painful and I bled a lot during the process so they have suggested a local for the second time round - whenever

Not a question, but just a concern
Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with

Fibrosis
at quite an advanced stage from what I understand. I have had one appointment with my lung specialist where I was diagnosed but now my 2nd appointment has been cancelled til further notice due to the current situation.

Anyone with DOR hoping for treatment
Hi, I have DOR and I am desperate to be able to do IVF again. I came across an article of the British Fertility Society. They are currently reviewing members‘ proposals on next steps. I emailed my clinic and asked them to email the BFS to request that treatment can resume for women with DOR. For us
