Hi, any lady based in Suffolk could be of great help to the community. Matt Hancock is MP there and also Minister for health. I cannot wrote to him as he only deals with his constituents. If you are based in Suffolk and happy to help on IVF, please get in touch here or on PM.

I am trying to raise awareness among politicians of the desperate situation of women with low ovarian reserve who are currently denied fertility preservation. Women with low ovarian reserve will lose their last chance to have a child due to egg collection likely to be banned for several more months. As cancer patient are still doing IVF for fertility preservation, there is no reason to deny fertility preservation for women with diminished ovarian reserve.

I wrote to my mp here in Wales and he promised to take it up as healthcare is devolved in Wales. Got me absolutely nowhere. He came back repeating that the hfea were responsible for stopping treatments. Also emailed BFS and hfea. Theyre not interested. Also took it downing street. Zero response. It's so heartbreaking.

The more we insist the more likely we are to succeed. You could tell your MP that HFEA has not stopped treatment for cancer patient for fertility preservation. Only politicians can make BFS and HFEA consider that they are missing a category of patients in need of fertility preservation.
