Blood Results
Hi, Sorry it's taken so long to post my results but I have been quite poorly again with ulcerative colitis/diverticula problems. There don't appear to be any for FT3 & FT4, & I'm not sure about the VitB12 & Ferritin, but I don't really know what any of them mean. Total white blood count

She had her bloods repeated today. which showed a macrocystosis with an MCV of 104 but a normal eosinophil count of 0.19 her
PTH

CLL & possible hyperparathyroidism
I've been happily (more or less) living with CLL since being diagnosed in 2005 just before my 36th birthday. I've been on watch and wait ever since, with no real movement in my WBC or platelet counts. My only symptoms are slightly enlarged lymph nodes in my neck - which haven't budged in size since

Hyperparathyroidism in PCa.
There are 4 parathyroid glands in the neck (near the thyroid) & they secrete parathyroidism hormone [
PTH
] in response to a drop in circulating calcium. The kidneys respond to
PTH
by converting calcidiol (25-D) to calcitriol (1,25-D) - i.e. creating hormonal vitamin D.

Help understanding my thyroid test results.
The last year year has been unbearable for me. I am constantly exhausted, no concentration, feeling detached, no sex drive, thinnning hair etc. the list goes on. I also constantly need to go to the toilet to urinate. I suspected a thyroid or a possible parathyroid problem and I just had by bloods

Do I have Hypoparathyroidism?
My
PTH
is 0.9 and my Vit D is 50, the receptionist said the lab indicated these were both low. I feel quite poorly, very tired, I can concentrate and I seem to lose my way when having conversations with people, silly things like forgetting words or what I was talking about.

Delayed Post-Surgical Hypoparathyroidism: The Forgotten Chameleon!
All patients with a history of previous thyroid surgery, who come with vague symptoms like fatigue, muscle aches should undergo estimation of serum calcium, phosphorus and Parathyroid Hormone (
PTH
) due to the lack of any pathognomonic features of hypoparathyroidism.

Saw 2nd Endo Today
PTH
and Calcium Lab says results will be back on Friday... guess we'll see! Next Endo appt is 4/18 to discuss results and possible treatment. So, anyone had a Anti-TPO result that was borderline the first time it was tested -- then what happened the 2nd time? Did your numbers skyrocket?

Secondary Hyperparathyroidism - kidney stones
He tested my
PTH
and calcium, VIt D etc and i was found to have slightly elevated
PTH
with low Vit D so he declared me to have hyperparaythoidism. Anyway, fast forward to recent months. I have visited my GP on several occasions complaining of left flank and low groin pain.
